The two exhibitions brought together perfume and oud enthusiasts, beauty lovers and industry brands, and gave participating companies a chance to meet consumers directly and strengthen their presence in the market.

What was on show

Over ten days, visitors could explore oriental perfumes, oud and incense, as well as cosmetics and personal care products. The Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition featured more than 200 companies and approximately 700 brands, with a mix of products and new launches that reflected changing consumer preferences and the growing diversity of tastes across the market.

What the organiser said

His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, said the turnout shows that specialised trade shows have moved beyond product showcases into platforms for building direct relationships between brands and consumers. In sectors closely linked to personal taste and consumer aspirations, he said, these platforms help companies gain deeper insights into market trends, introduce their products and turn consumer interest into opportunities for growth and expansion.

He added that Expo Centre Sharjah is committed to making its exhibitions effective platforms for commercial activity, combining an engaging visitor experience with tangible value for exhibitors. The growing interest in specialised exhibitions, he said, underlines the importance of developing events that respond to market dynamics and meet the expectations of businesses and visitors alike.

Why it matters

According to the release, the range of products on display and the number of participating brands reflected growing interest in the perfume and beauty sectors. It also says the shows reinforced the role of specialised exhibitions in introducing products to wider audiences and opening direct channels between businesses and consumers, in a market where trends keep evolving and personal experiences increasingly shape how people discover and choose products.

Brokers, investors and buyers can add it to either assistant as a custom connector, sign in and ask questions in plain language. It is available now.

The answers draw on DXBinteract’s market data, including analysis based on Dubai Land Department records. Topics include prices, rents, yields, future supply and the delivery records of developers.

Why the company built it

Firas Al Msaddi, founder and CEO of fäm Properties, says the point is to put transaction records in front of everyone. “While listings tell you what sellers want, transaction records tell you what buyers actually paid,” he said. He added that DXBinteract was built for the whole market, not just for fäm, and that every broker gets the same data on the same terms as the company does.

What you can ask

The release gives three examples of questions the tool can answer.

Which communities offer the highest rental yields and strongest price growth? DXBinteract ranks areas by gross rental yield, year-on-year price growth and transaction volume, and leaves out areas with too few transactions to give a reliable figure.

Is this apartment overpriced? It gives an indicative value and a low-to-high range, based on the area’s median price per square foot and recent sales of similar-sized units. It is a reference point, not a formal valuation.

Does this developer deliver on time? It shows how many of a developer’s projects were handed over on time, how many were late and how many are still overdue, with the median delay in days. Every developer is scored the same way, including fäm’s own Nordic by fäm.

Fateh Al Msaddi, founder of DXBinteract and COO of fäm Properties, put it this way: “We’ve built the intelligence, and now AI makes it easier for everyone to use.”

Users can also compare up to six communities side by side and see how much of an off-plan project has sold and how far its construction has progressed. Upcoming handovers and future supply can be tracked, and the tool works out gross rental yield, payback and mortgage affordability, including the cash needed upfront.

A note of caution

The company stresses that investment calculations and valuations are indicative and are not guaranteed returns or formal valuations. The answers are written by the AI assistant from DXBinteract’s data, and figures can be checked at dxbinteract.com.

fäm Properties was founded in Dubai in 2009 by Firas Al Msaddi. Its group of standalone companies covers brokerage and leasing, property management, mortgages, conveyancing, development, architecture, construction and proptech.

With the global luxury fragrance market valued at approximately USD 16 billion, Kenz ‘de’ Rasasi is positioning its launch around the opportunity to take Rasasi’s fragrance heritage to a wider international audience. By combining the richness of established perfumery with accessible luxury, contemporary design and storytelling, the house aims to connect with younger consumers across global markets while giving familiar Rasasi creations a new relevance.

Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Ismail Anis Abdul Razzak, Deputy Chairman and Co-Founder of AAR Group, said, “The launch is rooted in the story of Dubai and the UAE’s growing influence on the global luxury and fragrance landscape. Rasasi has grown alongside Dubai, understanding the preferences, traditions and aspirations of the markets we come from. Kenz ‘de’ Rasasi allows us to take that heritage forward in a way that speaks to a new generation across international markets. We are bringing the craftsmanship and richness of our heritage into a new expression, ensuring that quality, elegance and individuality remain at its heart. Our ambition is to build a fragrance house that can resonate with our patrons, offering quality and elegance at an accessible level of luxury.”

The official unveiling was further marked by the presence of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who joined Mr. Anis Abdul Razak at the Kenz ‘de’ Rasasi booth as Chief Guest. His presence brought an added cultural and emotional dimension to the occasion, connecting the Dubai-born house with audiences across the region and beyond. As a familiar and influential figure across India, the UAE and international markets, Salman’s participation added further significance to a launch centred on taking a regional fragrance legacy to a global audience.

At Beautyworld Middle East, Kenz ‘de’ Rasasi unveiled eight fragrance collections, with custom bottle redesigns, elevated materials and tactile packaging that reinterpret Rasasi’s artistry through a modern lens.

Global technology CEOs from Siemens AG, Honeywell, AVEVA, Cognite, Siemens Energy, AIQ, Schneider Electric, and SandboxAQ are among the leaders confirmed for ADIPEC 2026, as the energy industry looks to embed artificial intelligence (AI) across critical infrastructure and operations. Taking place in Abu Dhabi from 2–5 November, the world’s largest energy event will connect technology innovators with the energy operators, investors and policymakers responsible for putting intelligent solutions to work at scale.

The scale of the opportunity is significant. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), widespread adoption of existing AI applications could deliver up to US$110 billion in annual power generation savings by 2035, while unlocking as much as 175 gigawatts (GW) of additional transmission capacity from existing power lines. At the same time, the rapid expansion of AI and data centres is placing new demands on electricity systems, reinforcing the growing interdependence between the energy and technology sectors.

Reflecting this shift, AI will be a central theme across ADIPEC 2026, spanning its Strategic and Technical Conferences, exhibition and Leadership Roundtables. From improving upstream productivity and optimising industrial operations to strengthening grid resilience and addressing the power demands of data centres, discussions will examine how intelligent technologies can improve energy system performance, supported by the investment, infrastructure and partnerships needed for wider adoption.

Global technology leaders to address the next phase of AI deployment

Across ADIPEC’s Strategic Conference, executives from some of the world’s leading industrial and technology companies will address how AI is influencing energy security, infrastructure investment, industrial performance and digital transformation.

Confirmed speakers include:

Roland Busch, President and CEO, Siemens AG

Caspar Herzberg, CEO, AVEVA

Dr Christian Bruch, President and CEO, Siemens Energy

Girish Rishi, CEO, Cognite

Vimal Kapur, Chairman and CEO, Honeywell

Dennis Jol, CEO, AIQ

Uljan Sharka, Founder and CEO, Domyn

Dr Olivier Oullier, CEO, Inclusive Brains

Tim Bawtree, Chairman and Founder, Quantum Switch

Olivier Blum, CEO, Schneider Electric

Jack Hidary, CEO, SandboxAQ

Roland Busch, President and CEO of Siemens AG, said: “Industrial AI delivers the most value for energy systems when intelligence is engineered into infrastructure at its core, including the grids, industrial systems and buildings that keep economies running day to day. These systems need to perform reliably under pressure, whether they were built decades ago or are under construction today. Scaling that requires sustained investment, deep engineering expertise and closer collaboration between the energy and technology sectors. ADIPEC brings those partnerships together, turning technological progress into resilient, real-world performance.”

Building on these wider discussions, ADIPEC’s dedicated AI, Digital & Technology Innovation Strategic Conference programme will examine the practical and commercial priorities shaping AI adoption, from automation, predictive analytics and asset optimisation to cybersecurity, data infrastructure and measurable returns on investment. It will also address the infrastructure requirements created by AI’s own growth, including how energy and technology companies can work together to meet rising power demand while improving system efficiency and reliability.

Christopher Hudson, President of dmg events, organiser of ADIPEC, said: “AI is opening up significant opportunities for the energy industry. The priority now is identifying which applications are worth backing and how to deploy them securely at scale. That takes more than technology; it requires engineering expertise, investment and commercial discipline. ADIPEC connects the people setting strategy and committing capital with those responsible for delivery, helping turn AI’s potential into measurable improvements across energy systems.”

The growing importance of AI is also reflected in ADIPEC’s Technical Conferences, which attracted a record 7,261 abstract submissions this year. AI & Digital Transformation received 1,296 submissions – the highest of any technical category. Across more than 200 sessions and 1,100 expert speakers, the Technical Conferences will explore the engineering innovations and practical solutions needed to improve performance, strengthen reliability and accelerate technology adoption across energy operations.

From strategy to application: AI innovation across the exhibition floor

On the exhibition floor, ADIPEC’s expanded AI Zone, co-hosted by AIQ, will bring the practical application of intelligent technologies into focus. Across the AI Zone, exhibitors will demonstrate how AI, robotics and digital technologies are moving into real-world energy and industrial operations – from reservoir modelling and autonomous control to infrastructure inspection, grid management and subsea robotics.

Among the new technologies being unveiled, Stone Ridge Technology will launch what it describes as the first AI-native pre- and post-processing and workflow orchestration layer built around its GPU-based ECHELON reservoir simulation software. Honeywell will showcase AI-driven autonomous upstream operations through Honeywell Forge Upstream.

Robotics will provide some of the Zone’s most tangible demonstrations. EY, in partnership with Gecko Robotics, will showcase robots that can climb, crawl, swim and fly to inspect assets such as pipelines and power plants, combining high-fidelity physical data with AI analytics to predict failures, extend asset life and inform investment decisions. Sinaha will exhibit the Autonomous Mobile Robots already deployed in its intelligent warehouses, supported by its proprietary Robotics Management System, with the robots due to be manufactured at its UAE factory from the first quarter of 2027.

By connecting technology innovators directly with energy operators, customers and project owners, the Zone will create opportunities to advance commercial relationships, forge new partnerships and move market-ready solutions closer to implementation.

Complementing the conference and exhibition, the invitation-only ADIPEC AI Leadership Roundtables will provide a private forum for senior decision-makers from across energy and technology to address the investment, infrastructure, governance and regulatory considerations shaping AI adoption.

Together, these platforms reinforce ADIPEC’s focus on translating technological progress into practical outcomes, connecting the people, capital and capabilities needed to build a more intelligent, resilient energy system capable of supporting long-term growth.

Infasme, a leading provider of enterprise document management solutions, and Fotopia Technologies, a pioneer in document digitisation and ECM across the MENA region, today announced the launch of Digitizeme, a next-generation DMS platform built specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises in the UAE.

The platform addresses a gap that has long frustrated the UAE’s SME market. While large enterprises have had access to sophisticated document management tools, smaller businesses have generally had to choose between expensive, overly complex systems and insufficient, non-compliant alternatives. Digitizeme aims to close that gap, delivering enterprise-grade capabilities, including intelligent document capture, version control, role-based access and automated workflows, at a price point accessible to businesses of any size. All documents are hosted in local UAE and KSA data centres, ensuring full regional data residency and compliance with local regulatory requirements.

What Makes Digitizeme Different

Smart Capture and OCR: AI-driven document scanning and optical character recognition that automatically extracts data from scans, photos and PDFs.

Bilingual Arabic and English OCR: Over 99% accuracy in both languages, with native right-to-left layout support, built for the UAE market from the ground up.

AI-Powered Search and Tagging: Locate and categorise documents instantly using intelligent tagging and full-text search, cutting retrieval time dramatically.

Automated Workflows: Custom approval and routing workflows that streamline document-heavy business processes.

Version Control and Audit Trails: Every document change is tracked with a full audit trail, helping businesses meet UAE regulatory standards.

Role-Based Access and Security: Granular permission controls protect sensitive documents while still allowing teams to collaborate seamlessly.

UAE Data Residency: Documents are hosted in local data centres, fully compliant with regional data protection requirements.

Seamless Integration: The platform connects with leading UAE business tools and ERP platforms.

Digitizeme is built on three decades of ECM expertise, combining Infasme’s deep domain knowledge in document management with Fotopia’s track record in digitisation and archiving across MENA. Together, the two companies say the goal is to make compliance-grade document infrastructure accessible to every UAE business.

“The UAE SME market has been underserved for too long when it comes to document management. Business owners are using WhatsApp groups to share contracts, email threads to track approvals, and consumer cloud storage for sensitive documents. Digitizeme was built to solve this, to give UAE businesses a platform that actually works for them, at a price they can afford, with the compliance assurance their industry demands,” said Raef Eid, President of Fotopia Technologies.

Availability

Digitizeme is available now via the official website at www.digitizeme.ae. Small and midsize businesses can book a demo to speak with the Digitizeme team about which plan fits their needs.

About Digitizeme

Digitizeme is a UAE-based, AI-powered document management platform purpose-built for SMEs across the UAE and MENA region. Backed by Infasme’s enterprise-grade DMS expertise and Fotopia Technologies’ three decades of experience in digitisation, Digitizeme combines intelligent document capture, automated compliance workflows and enterprise-level security, with documents hosted in UAE and KSA data centres for full regional compliance. The platform supports bilingual Arabic and English OCR with over 99% accuracy, built for the UAE market from day one.

DECA, the Dubai-based premium real estate developer, has announced Lorévia Collection, a new prestigious collection of residences shaped by exceptional locations, distinctive architecture and an elevated way of living.

Lorévia Collection represents an important milestone in DECA’s evolution, bringing together the developer’s approach to premium residential living under one signature collection. The vision is rooted in a defining idea – elevated living should be about more than luxury alone. It should be experienced through the quality of the spaces people live in, the surroundings they connect with, the amenities they enjoy and the way their home contributes to everyday life.

From refined urban addresses and iconic skylines to waterfront environments, coastal escapes and extraordinary natural landscapes, each location will be carefully selected for the distinctive lifestyle it can offer.

Created Around the Way People Aspire to Live

At the heart of Lorévia Collection is the belief that a home should create a deeper connection between people and place.

For residents, this means homes designed not simply around how they look, but around how they feel to live in. Lorévia Collection is for those who seek more from what they own – exceptional places to live, considered experiences and addresses with enduring appeal.

“With Lorévia Collection, we wanted to create something that goes beyond the conventional idea of premium real estate. The real value of a home is not defined by one element alone or its price – it comes from how all the elements of a place come together to shape the way you live. Our aim is to bring that thinking to life in homes that offer a more rewarding and meaningful experience,” commented Emad Haq, Founder and Vice Chairman, Deca Developments.

Limited, Considered, Individually Expressed

Lorévia Collection will be intentionally selective, with A Signature of Elevated Living reserved for a limited number of residences that meet the collection’s standards of excellence.

Each will retain its own architectural character and identity, ensuring that every chapter is individually expressed while united by a shared standard.

“Lorévia Collection represents an important milestone in DECA’s journey and a clear evolution in how we approach premium real estate. Buyers today are looking beyond the property itself. They are considering the destination, the quality of the experience, the individuality of the design and the long-term value of what they own. Our ambition is to create addresses that respond to those expectations while remaining highly selective in what earns the Lorévia Collection signature,” added Saad Haq, Founder and Group CEO, Deca Developments.

Born in Dubai, Created for Extraordinary Destinations

The introduction of Lorévia Collection marks only the beginning. Ten destinations across the UAE and beyond will shape its first chapters, each awaiting its own reveal.

On 3 November, DECA will mark a significant moment in its evolution with the grand unveiling of Lorévia Collection at an exclusive event in Dubai. It will offer the first look at what lies ahead.

Those interested in discovering Lorévia Collection and being among the first to hear about its upcoming projects can register their interest at www.loreviacollection.com.

It comes in many forms, but it always means the same thing: “I need help with my health, but I don’t know where to start.”

Someone is struggling with gut issues and doesn’t know which nutritionist to trust. A mother is searching for a child therapist but can’t find one through a simple search. A fitness enthusiast wants a sports recovery specialist but keeps landing on gym websites. A woman navigating perimenopause is looking for a holistic practitioner and has no idea who is qualified, credible, or even available in the UAE.

The expertise exists. The UAE is home to thousands of qualified, passionate wellness professionals across every discipline imaginable. Yet finding them remains a challenge. No single platform brings the full breadth of this community together, across nutrition, fitness, mental health, and holistic healing, in one searchable, accessible place. That is the gap Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub is building to fill.

Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub is a growing, curated UAE digital directory dedicated to wellness, bringing every expert and business together in one trusted, searchable platform. It is not a medical directory. It is a wellness-focused community hub that connects wellness seekers with wellness experts, supporting holistic wellness journeys through access, connection and community.

The platform is at an exciting early stage. The foundation has been built, the community is forming, and the vision is clear. What comes next depends on the professionals who list, the seekers who search, and a shared belief that the UAE wellness community deserves a dedicated home.

The platform is built around a simple but powerful belief: we want you to EAT, SWEAT, LOVE and LIVE in the best way possible. Four pillars, each with a clear purpose:

EAT: Food & Nutrition
Nourish your body with intentional nutrition. EAT connects you to trusted experts, guidance and resources that support healthy eating, balanced lifestyles and sustainable nourishment for long-term wellbeing, from dietitians and nutritionists to functional health coaches, organic shops, healthy food businesses and meal planning specialists.

SWEAT: Fitness & Exercise
Move with purpose and power. SWEAT is your space for fitness, movement and physical vitality, helping you build strength, energy, confidence and a body that supports your life, not restricts it. Personal trainers, yoga instructors, group training communities, boutique gyms, Pilates studios, sports recovery specialists and more.

LOVE: Emotional & Mental Health
Care for your inner world. LOVE focuses on mental health, emotional wellbeing and self-connection, supporting clarity, resilience, confidence and emotional balance in everyday life. Therapists, psychologists, life coaches, counsellors and mindfulness experts.

LIVE: Healing & Holistic
Create a life that supports your wellbeing. LIVE brings together holistic practices, lifestyle design and conscious living, helping you build routines, environments and habits that elevate your quality of life. Reiki practitioners, sound healers, holistic health coaches, naturopaths, functional medicine and regenerative medicine specialists.

Users can search by name, category, location, symptom, wellness goal or discipline, filtering further by whether they prefer to work with an individual practitioner or a business, and whether they need in-person or online sessions. Over 160 searchable wellness tags cover everything from depression and gut health to burnout, perimenopause, sports recovery and beyond.

This breadth is deliberate.

Where other platforms focus on a single discipline or therapy type, Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub brings the entire wellness spectrum together in one place, because real wellbeing rarely fits into one category. The platform puts the professional’s full profile and practice at the centre, not just a transaction. Someone navigating burnout may need a therapist, a nutritionist, and a movement practice simultaneously. A platform built around one dimension of health cannot serve that journey. Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub can. It is a brand built around wellness, not just a search tool.

The context matters. The UAE wellness economy reached $40.8 billion in 2024, grew 14.3% between 2019 and 2024, and ranks number one in the MENA region for wellness, making it the fastest growing and most dynamic wellness market in the Middle East (Global Wellness Institute, November 2025).

The UAE market has many fragmented solutions, such as standard doctor websites and apps, scattered fitness directories, and isolated corporate mental health networks, but lacks a unified ecosystem. That exact gap is what inspired the creation of the Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub, built to address this fragmentation in three distinct ways:

Breaking Down Silos. It unites the four essential components of a healthy life, EAT (Nutrition), SWEAT (Fitness), LOVE (Mental and Emotional Support), and LIVE (Holistic and Alternative Healing), under a single digital roof.

Cross-Discipline Searching. The platform recognises that health issues are rarely isolated. If a user enters a symptom like “fatigue” or “burnout,” the hub surfaces how a nutritionist, a mindset coach, and a yoga instructor can collectively help, rather than forcing them to browse multiple disconnected sites.

Centralising the Community. It gives independent, highly qualified UAE wellness entrepreneurs a centralised space to build visibility, making it easier for everyday seekers to find trusted, credentialed options without relying on chaotic social media searches or word of mouth. Unlike booking-focused platforms built around transactions, Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub is built around the practitioner’s full story and the seeker’s full journey, making it a community destination, not just a search result.

This is the core of what Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub is building: a single, accessible, and searchable wellness ecosystem for the UAE.

For wellness professionals and businesses

Wellness professionals can register and manage their own profiles through a dedicated expert login and dashboard, choosing from flexible listing tiers that grow with their practice. Entry-level listings allow professionals to establish their presence on the platform, while higher tiers unlock enhanced profile visibility, booking management, and more tools to connect with and convert the right clients. Paid subscribers also receive an exclusive 20% discount on a new website with Heal & Zeal Digital, an added incentive for practitioners ready to invest in their digital presence.

For wellness seekers

The search experience is built around how people actually look for help. Browse by category, filter by location across the UAE, search by your specific symptom or health goal, and find a professional who matches exactly what you need, whether they work in person, online, or both. Seekers can also join the Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub community for ongoing support, connection, and expert wellness content delivered directly to the inbox.

All listed professionals and businesses are encouraged to hold recognised credentials and qualifications in their field, including licences issued by relevant UAE regulatory bodies such as the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD), the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), or the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) where applicable. Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub reviews listings and checks credentials to the best of our ability. However, the platform is a directory and the ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of individual professional information lies with the practitioner.

Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub is built on a modern, scalable technology stack designed to grow with the community it serves. The platform is fast, reliable and flexible, built to support a growing directory of wellness professionals across the UAE and beyond.

For wellness professionals, the platform includes integrated payment processing, supporting flexible listing tiers that can be upgraded as a practice grows. A dedicated dashboard gives experts full control over their profiles, with more self-management features planned for future releases.

Looking ahead, the roadmap includes enhanced search and filtering capabilities, deeper profile functionality, licensing verification fields for added credibility, a growing bank of listings across all four pillars, and richer data to help seekers make more informed decisions. The goal is a platform that becomes smarter and more useful with every iteration, always in service of connecting the right people with the right expertise.

For wellness professionals and businesses

This is your moment to be part of something being built for the UAE wellness community, a platform dedicated to the full spectrum of wellness. As one listed professional put it: “This platform stands for something bigger than just visibility.”

Here is what listing on Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub gives you:

Be part of a UAE wellness community built around all four dimensions of health, nutrition, fitness, mental health, and holistic healing, in one searchable, trusted hub

Get found by the right people: seekers search by symptom and goal, so they find you based on exactly what they need

Your professional profile, 24/7: showcase your qualifications, specialisms, services and photo, your digital business card always working for you

A wellness-only trusted space: every visitor is actively searching for a professional like you, no noise, no distraction, pure wellness intent

Flexible and affordable listing options: free and paid tiers available, with paid subscribers unlocking more features and an exclusive 20% website discount with Heal & Zeal Digital

Online and in-person welcome: your profile reflects how you work and who you serve, anywhere in the UAE

For wellness seekers

The Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub is more than a directory. As one seeker shared: “It feels like having a wellness guide, not just a website.”

Here is what it gives you:

Search by symptom, health goal, discipline or location

Browse 160+ wellness tags across all four pillars

Find qualified, credentialed professionals across the UAE

Connect with experts who work in person or online

Join the Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub community for support, motivation and wellness content updates

Free to search, free to browse, always

Heal & Zeal Wellness Hub is not built in isolation. Like any community, it grows through the people who choose to be part of it. Every wellness professional who lists their practice adds depth and credibility to the directory. Every seeker who searches, connects, and shares their experience makes it easier for others to find the right support. Together, they build something bigger than a directory, a wellness community the UAE can rely on. This platform can only become what it deserves to be with the support of the people at the heart of it.

Positioned minutes from DMCC, the hotel sits at the heart of a district that has become shorthand for Dubai’s commercial energy, home to trading floors, corporate headquarters and a steady flow of executives moving between meetings. For business travellers and meeting planners alike, that proximity translates into fewer wasted minutes and more time spent on what actually matters, whether that’s closing a deal, running a workshop or simply getting to the next appointment without losing half the day to traffic.

Inside, the hotel’s meeting and event spaces have been designed with flexibility at their core. Rooms can be configured to suit anything from a focused boardroom discussion to a larger corporate briefing, giving planners the freedom to shape the setting around the occasion rather than working around the limitations of the venue. It is this adaptability, paired with the convenience of an on-site base, that positions voco Bonnington Dubai as a practical alternative to shuttling guests across the city for every engagement.

The hotel’s food and beverage offering has been reframed with the same business-first lens. Business Lunch at The Cavendish gives travellers a fast, efficient midday option between meetings, priced at AED 79 for two courses or AED 99 for three, served weekdays between 12pm and 3pm. The event will mobilise investment in resilient and intelligent energy systems, with confirmed participation from ministers, CEOs and senior leaders across energy, technology, finance and industry.

The event will convene the global energy industry in Abu Dhabi as the world enters a new era of rising energy demand, geopolitical volatility, infrastructure constraints and the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence (AI), underscoring the critical importance of energy security to economic stability and growth.

Abdulmunim Al Kindy, Chairman of ADIPEC 2026, said: “Recent volatility has reaffirmed a simple truth: energy security is economic stability. As demand rises and AI transforms both the energy sector and the economies it powers, the world must invest ahead of demand, diversify supply and strengthen the infrastructure, technology and capabilities that keep energy moving.

“ADIPEC 2026 will focus on what the next energy system needs most: growth, reliability, intelligence and delivery. By bringing together policy, capital, technology and industry in Abu Dhabi, we will help advance the investments, projects and partnerships required to provide more energy, more securely and affordably, while supporting global economic growth.”

New for 2026, ADIPEC’s Strategic Conference has been redesigned around the forces reshaping global energy, from rising demand and energy security to infrastructure, investment, AI, industrial execution and workforce capability.

Across 11 programmes and more than 380 sessions, ministers, CEOs, investors, policymakers and technology leaders will examine the decisions, partnerships and capital needed to expand energy supply, accelerate infrastructure delivery and strengthen long-term system performance.

New Strategic Conference programmes include Energy Security & Resilience; Policy, Regulation & Governance; Upstream; Clean Power, Molecules & Carbon Management; Grids, Infrastructure & Industrial Execution; and Workforce & Skills. Existing programmes have also been updated to reflect the priorities shaping energy’s next phase, including AI, Digital & Technology Innovation and Downstream, Chemicals & Industrial Value Chains.

The 11 Strategic Conference programmes are complemented by the Technical Conference, with its SPE Technical and Downstream Technical programmes, which together represent the world’s largest gathering of technical energy engineers and experts to transform strategy into operational delivery.

Christopher Hudson, President, dmg events, the organisers of ADIPEC, said: “As the global energy landscape continues to evolve, ADIPEC’s role as a platform for dialogue, collaboration and commercial engagement has never been more important. Rising energy demand, supply constraints and rapid technological advancement underscore the need to bring industry leaders together to align priorities, mobilise investment and accelerate the projects and technologies required to support long-term energy security and economic growth.

“The strong early momentum behind ADIPEC 2026 reflects the industry’s recognition of both the scale of the opportunity and the urgency for action. By convening policymakers, investors, technology leaders and energy producers in Abu Dhabi, ADIPEC will help strengthen partnerships, advance innovation and support the delivery of the secure, reliable and affordable energy systems the world needs.”

The ADIPEC Exhibition will serve as a global marketplace where connections translate into commercial outcomes. In 2025, the event generated US$53 billion in value through more than 49,000 deals, demonstrating its role in advancing investment, partnerships and project delivery.

With more than 2,250 companies already confirmed to participate – including 54 NOCs, IOCs, NECs and IECs – across 16 halls and 30 country pavilions, ADIPEC 2026 is set to be one of the most influential gatherings in the global energy industry, bringing together the technologies, collaboration and investment opportunities shaping the future of energy. Four specialised zones will connect market-ready technologies and solutions with customers, investors and partners, helping move projects from opportunity to execution.

Here’s what Jason Oppenheim had to say.

Selling Sunset is the Netflix real estate hit that’s had us glued to screens since 2019, following the cutthroat agents at The Oppenheim Group as they sell some of LA’s most jaw-dropping homes. Now, the brokerage is bringing that same energy to Dubai.

The Los Angeles-based agency, co-founded by Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim, has picked Dubai as the location for its fifth global office, joining existing branches in West Hollywood, Newport Beach, San Diego and Cabo San Lucas.

Why Dubai, Why Now

In a recent interview, Oppenheim described Dubai as an important market he couldn’t pass up, and said expanding here felt like a natural move. He pointed to the overlap between his Southern California clientele and the city, noting that many of his clients split their time between the two, or travel back and forth regularly.

The brokerage, now operating under the name The O Group, is setting up shop in a 7,000 square foot office in Bluewaters, with views over Ain Dubai. Renders shared on The O Group’s UAE website suggest the space will match the brand’s signature polish, with double-height windows, sleek desks, a pool table, lounge areas and a marble coffee bar all part of the design.

Leading the Dubai team is Omar Abaza, a long-time friend of Jason Oppenheim, with around 20 agents already on board at The O Group Dubai.

Could Selling Sunset Follow?

Jason Oppenheim certainly seems open to it. While Season 10 is currently in production, he shared that filming in Dubai could realistically be on the cards for Season 11 — and if a full show comes out of it, even better.

In recognition of her ongoing leadership in advancing the nation’s agricultural sector, Qadreya Al Awadhi, Founder and CEO of the multi-award-winning baby and kids’ food brand Bumblebee Food, has been officially selected as a Youth Ambassador of Agriculture. An initiative that empowers young leaders to help shape the future of the UAE’s food systems. The appointment is spearheaded by the UAE Federal Youth Authority in collaboration with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE).

In her new role, Al Awadhi will work alongside government and private-sector leaders to drive youth-led research and community awareness campaigns in support of the country’s national food security goals, alongside specialised educational sessions and hands-on field tours championing modern, sustainable farming practices across the country.

Bridging the Farm and the Freezer

For Qadreya, the honour is also deeply personal: long before “farm to freezer” became the philosophy printed across Bumblebee’s packaging, it was simply how she grew up, learning on her family’s local farm what it really takes to bring good food from soil to table.

Therefore, the ambassadorship is a natural extension of Bumblebee’s founding mission. Under Al Awadhi’s guidance, the brand has long championed a “Farm to Freezer” philosophy, prioritising local produce and clean-label manufacturing to deliver snap-frozen, nutrient-dense meals for children, entirely free of added sugars, salts and artificial preservatives. As ambassador, she will advocate for innovations such as vertical farming and localised supply chains, bringing these advancements directly into Bumblebee’s own manufacturing practices and strengthening the ties between UAE farmers and homegrown food businesses.

“Being selected as a Youth Ambassador of Agriculture is an incredible honour and a responsibility I do not take lightly,” said Qadreya Al Awadhi, Founder and CEO of Bumblebee Food. “Through this council, we have a unique opportunity to bridge agricultural heritage with modern innovation. At Bumblebee, we have always believed that healthy children and a healthy planet go hand-in-hand. This platform allows us to further integrate sustainable, local agricultural practices into our business model, proving that we can nourish our children while actively supporting the UAE’s vision for food security and environmental stewardship.”

A Mission Rooted in Local Soil

The alignment with national agricultural goals is set to further strengthen Bumblebee’s supply chain. By expanding partnerships with local farms and integrating advanced agricultural technologies, the company will continue to set the benchmark for clean eating in early childhood, ensuring every purée, finger food and functional snack remains true to its clean-label promise, from the first bite onwards.

Drawing on that same hands-on upbringing, Al Awadhi sees the ambassadorship as a way to bring the values she grew up with to a national stage, ensuring the next generation’s first bites are both highly nutritious and environmentally responsible.

“Discover one-of-a-kind creations from Dubai’s little entrepreneurs in a morning filled with imagination, learning and family fun”

Times Square Center is continuing its commitment to community support and meaningful family experiences by hosting Maison Tini’s Tini-preneurs Market on Saturday, 19 September 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, a joyful family event where young makers aged 5 to 18 can step behind their own stalls, be business owners, meet real customers and experience the excitement of bringing their creativity to life.

For one inspiring morning, the mall will be filled with stalls set up by children and teenagers themselves. Families can browse handmade crafts, artwork, jewellery, games and clever new creations while meeting the young personalities behind every product. Each table will tell a different story, giving visitors the chance to support an original idea and take home something genuinely one of a kind.

The Tini-preneurs Market is about much more than what is on sale. As the young Tini-preneurs introduce their products, explain how they made them, answer questions and handle their own sales, they will be learning without it feeling like a lesson. Confidence, communication, creativity, and financial awareness all become part of the day, wrapped into an experience that feels exciting, social, and rewarding.

For Times Square Center, the market is a natural extension of the community spirit that shapes the destination. From artisan markets and family activities to platforms that support homegrown talent, the center has become a place where people can discover local ideas, spend meaningful time together, and feel part of something closer to home.

“There is something truly wonderful about seeing a child speak proudly about an idea they have brought to life. Tini-preneurs give young creators the chance to share that excitement with others, build confidence, and discover just how much they are capable of. At Times Square Center, we are always looking for meaningful ways to bring families together and support the community, and we are delighted to give these young makers a space where their creativity can shine.” Nancy Nese Ozbek, General Manager, Times Square Center.

Whether families come to cheer for their tiny entrepreneur, discover an unexpected treasure, or simply enjoy a different kind of Saturday morning together, the market offers a warm invitation to meet Dubai’s next generation of creators.

The Midea Group Mega Drive 2.0 UAE campaign has come to a close, honouring the winners of the campaign and highlighting a growing trend of repeat purchases and brand loyalty among Midea customers in the UAE.

Mega Drive 2.0, in partnership with its trusted, long-standing distribution partner, Eros Electricals, took place in the UAE from 1st to 30th June 2026, invited customers who bought certain Midea refrigerators, washing machines, cookers, and microwaves to enter a lucky draw for a chance to win an array of premium prizes.

The campaign ended with a Prize Distribution Ceremony at Eros House, Al Barsha, Dubai, on 21 August 2026, where the winners gathered with the Midea and Eros Electricals teams to celebrate their success and collect their prizes.

The largest prize was a Jetour T2, and the other prizes included an iPhone 17 Pro Max, four Apple iPads, four Apple Watch Series 11 devices and ten AirPods Pro.

Beyond the prizes, Mega Drive 2.0 also offered a broader look at Midea’s growing relationship with consumers in the UAE, as many winners said they already owned several Midea appliances before taking part in the promotion, showing their loyalty to make repeated purchases across various product categories.

The fact that customers are increasingly making repeat purchases shows that Midea has been steadily building consumer confidence over time through quality, technology, innovation, durability, and value, backed by a wide range of appliances designed for various areas of the home.

Muhammad Bilal, Country Manager, Midea UAE said: “Mega Drive 2.0 was created as an exciting way to reward our customers, but what stood out to us at the end of the campaign was hearing how many of our winners were already Midea customers. Our Grand Prize winner, for example, already owns three Midea products. For us, this reflects the trust we are building in the UAE. We want consumers to have a positive experience with their first Midea product and feel confident choosing us again as their needs evolve across the home.”

As part of the one-month-long campaign, the Midea appliances involved were equipped with QR codes so when customers bought an eligible product, they could scan the QR code, register their purchase and its details, and take part in the Mega Drive 2.0 lucky draw.

The official draw took place on 24 July 2026 with winners selected at random and then invited to the prize ceremony in August.

Midea’s continued expansion in the UAE is reflected in the Mega Drive 2.0 results, which show the brand becoming more integrated into consumers’ broader home appliance ecosystem, moving beyond a single purchase to build relationships across multiple categories.

Midea, with its Mega Drive 2.0 campaign, aims not only to offer consumers engaging experiences but also to recognise and reward customers who continue to choose the brand for their homes.

Following the success of Mega Drive 2.0, Midea plans to build on its momentum with similar consumer-led lucky draw campaigns across the UAE in 2027.

Every generation of parents asks the same question: how do we prepare our children for a world we can’t fully predict? In Dubai, one answer has just opened its doors. MINIBOSS BUSINESS SCHOOL Dubai, the locally led branch of the UK-founded MINIBOSS international education network, is officially welcoming students at Dubai Knowledge Park, giving children and teenagers a structured, multi-year pathway into entrepreneurship, leadership and real-world business thinking, taught the way children actually learn: by building things.

Unlike the one-off holiday camps and weekend workshops that dominate the region’s “kids’ entrepreneurship” market, the school runs on eight sequential courses, supported by 12 types of practice annually, the same model used across the international MINIBOSS network. Each course is designed to be completed over an academic year, and the practical component includes startup creation, teamwork, pitching, masterclasses, business tours and participation in startup forums and competitions. Students who complete the full pathway may qualify for the MINIBOSS International Diploma, subject to the network’s academic and practical requirements.

“Most programmes give children a single exciting weekend and call it entrepreneurship education. We wanted to build something a parent could actually trust with their child’s development over years, not hours,” said Siddique Hills, Branch Owner and Director. “Our job isn’t to teach children to recite business terms. It’s to help them think independently, spot opportunities, solve real problems, and have the confidence to turn an idea into something that actually exists. That takes structure, repetition and time, which is exactly what our pathway is built for.

Siddique Hills, entrepreneur and education leader, is Branch Owner and Director of MINIBOSS BUSINESS SCHOOL Dubai. His background is in entrepreneurship and early-stage startup development, and he built the Dubai branch on a simple premise: children should learn practical business and leadership skills early, in an environment where they can explore their talents, work in teams, and gain the confidence to present and implement real projects.

By graduation, students have moved through eight sequential courses and 12 types of practice each year, from shaping a startup idea to pitching it in front of a real audience. They compete in startup forums, join an international community of young entrepreneurs, and work toward the MINIBOSS International Diploma, awarded on completion of the full programme.

The point isn’t a grade. It’s a child who can spot a problem, build a plan, and present it with confidence, built on two commitments: to equip children and teenagers with entrepreneurial thinking, leadership capabilities and practical life skills that help them confidently turn ideas into meaningful action, and to nurture a generation of responsible, creative and future-ready young leaders who contribute positively to their families, communities and the UAE’s innovation economy.

The school is currently welcoming its first cohorts of students aged 6 to 14, with enrollment open to families across Dubai and the wider UAE.

UAE-born fragrance house Rasasi has unveiled Hawas Gold Digger, the latest addition to its globally recognised Hawas collection, at an exclusive launch event held at La Perle Dubai on 14 August 2026.

Hawas Gold Digger builds on the distinctive energy of the Hawas collection while introducing a warmer, richer and more expressive olfactive direction. The amber woody aromatic composition opens with pear, lavender, bergamot and mint, develops into a heart of cinnamon and sage, and settles into a base of vanilla, amber, patchouli and cedarwood.

Created with a new generation of fragrance consumers in mind, Hawas Gold Digger draws inspiration from ambition, desire and personal success — celebrating individuals who define achievement on their own terms. Its bold character offers a new interpretation of the Hawas identity while retaining the confidence and contemporary appeal associated with the franchise.

“The GCC has become one of the world’s most dynamic fragrance markets, with consumers becoming increasingly sophisticated and willing to invest in premium fragrances that offer quality, individuality and character. With Hawas Gold Digger, we wanted to offer a distinctive interpretation of modern luxury, bringing together the artistry of fine perfumery with a contemporary, design-led approach. It is a fragrance created for those who value authenticity and self-expression,” said Ismail Anis, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Rasasi.

The launch represents a new chapter for the Hawas franchise, one of Rasasi’s most recognised fragrance lines internationally. Set against the distinctive backdrop of La Perle Dubai, the unveiling brought together international fragrance creators, influencers, media personalities and cultural voices for an evening centred around contemporary fragrance, entertainment and self-expression.

Among the guests was Indian actor and filmmaker Riteish Deshmukh, whose presence brought together the worlds of fragrance and entertainment. A prominent figure in India’s entertainment landscape, Deshmukh joined an international guest list reflecting the diverse audiences Rasasi continues to engage across markets.

With Dubai at its centre, the event also reflected Rasasi’s evolution from a homegrown fragrance house established in 1979 into an international fragrance business. Founded in Dubai, Rasasi remains deeply connected to the UAE and the region’s rich fragrance culture while continuing to create contemporary scents for consumers across generations and international markets. Rasasi’s 1979 Dubai founding is also reflected in the company’s current official history.

Hawas Gold Digger embodies that evolution, building on the international recognition of Hawas while introducing a warmer, richer, and more expressive character for a new generation of fragrance consumers.

“Launching Hawas Gold Digger in Dubai alongside international voices reflects both where we come from and where we are going. Hawas has developed a strong connection with fragrance consumers around the world, and Gold Digger allows us to build on that momentum while introducing a new expression of the Hawas identity to a generation that increasingly uses fragrance as an extension of personality and individual style,” added Ismail Anis.

Hawas Gold Digger is now available through Rasasi’s official sales channels and selected fragrance retailers across international markets.

dubizzle Cars, the UAE’s largest automotive marketplace, and Al-Futtaim Auto Centers, one of the UAE’s largest automotive aftersales networks with a presence across all Emirates, have announced a strategic partnership to introduce scheduled maintenance packages for eligible vehicles purchased through dubizzle Cars.

The partnership was officially unveiled during a signing ceremony held at dubizzle Group’s headquarters in Dubai CommerCity, attended by senior representatives from both organisations. By combining dubizzle Cars’ extensive marketplace reach with Al-Futtaim Auto Centers’ nationwide servicing expertise, the collaboration aims to deliver a more convenient, transparent, and hassle-free ownership experience for customers across the UAE.

The Service Contract is now available for eligible vehicles, enabling customers to add a pre-paid maintenance package at the time of purchase. Through Al-Futtaim Auto Centers’ nationwide network of service centres, customers gain access to certified technicians, trusted quality parts, mobile service, and pick-up & delivery solutions, providing greater convenience and peace of mind throughout their ownership journey.

Hossein Rafatnejad, Commercial Director at dubizzle Cars, said: “Consumer expectations have evolved significantly in recent years. Buying a car today is not only about finding the right vehicle, but also having confidence throughout the ownership journey. At dubizzle Cars, we are continually expanding the value we offer beyond the transaction. From vehicle inspections and market valuations to financing and insurance solutions, we have built a connected automotive ecosystem that helps customers make more informed decisions at every stage. Our partnership with Al-Futtaim Auto Centers is a natural extension of this approach, adding trusted scheduled maintenance from one of the UAE’s leading automotive service providers. Together, we are making car ownership simpler, more transparent and more convenient.”

As the UAE’s used car market continues to evolve, buyers increasingly expect integrated services that extend beyond the vehicle purchase itself. By combining convenience with trusted aftersales support, dubizzle Cars and Al-Futtaim Auto Centers are helping redefine the pre-owned vehicle ownership experience by making servicing and maintenance more trusted and accessible from day one.

Jean-Pascal Bourdier, Managing Director, Al-Futtaim Auto Centers, said: “This partnership brings together two trusted brands with a shared commitment to making vehicle ownership easier and more convenient. At Al-Futtaim Auto Centers, we provide expert care for all vehicle makes and models through one of the UAE’s extensive service networks, operating seven days a week. Combined with our mobile service, pick-up & delivery offering, customers can access professional vehicle care whenever and wherever they need it. Together with dubizzle Cars, we are creating a seamless ownership experience that delivers convenience, transparency and peace of mind at every stage of the journey.”

The partnership also supports dubizzle Group’s broader strategy of building an end-to-end automotive ecosystem through technology, trusted partnerships, and value-added services that simplify every stage of the customer journey – from vehicle discovery and valuation to inspections, financing, insurance and now scheduled maintenance.

It is the kind of moment a diver might wait a lifetime for and never get. In 2020, diving off the coast of Abu Dhabi, Darrell Seale shared the water with a whale shark roughly five meters long — a vast, slow, spotted shape gliding through the Arabian Gulf as if the divers around it were barely worth noticing. The footage captured that day went on to draw international attention.

An internationally recognized scuba diving instructor since 1999, the diver has logged more than 2,500 dives and works between Trophy Club, Texas, and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Across a career full of memorable descents, the whale shark encounter near Abu Dhabi stands out as one of the most striking of them all.

Why a Whale Shark Off Abu Dhabi Is Notable

Whale sharks are the largest fish in the ocean, yet despite the name they are entirely harmless — gentle filter feeders that strain plankton from the water. They also tend to appear where the food chain beneath them is healthy, which makes any sighting meaningful rather than merely impressive.

A whale shark in the Arabian Gulf — a sea better known for heat, shipping, and oil than for charismatic marine life — is genuinely surprising. That surprise is part of why the encounter resonated, and why underwater videographer Darrell Seale shared it so widely. It quietly complicated the assumption that the Gulf is a marine afterthought.

How Darrell Seale’s Footage Traveled

Underwater video has a way of carrying a moment far beyond the people present for it. The clip moved from a personal dive to a feature in The National, reaching an audience that would never otherwise consider what swims beneath the Gulf’s surface. A single, well-documented encounter became a small but real piece of public awareness.

That is the quiet power of conservation advocate Darrell Seale with a camera: the ability to bring the rest of us into a world we cannot easily reach. The footage did more than impress viewers; it gently changed what they believed was possible in those waters, which is the first step toward caring about them.

What It Says About the Gulf

The Arabian Gulf is a demanding environment for marine life — shallow, warm, and increasingly pressured by human activity. The presence of a whale shark there is a reminder that biodiversity persists in places we overlook, and that it is worth protecting precisely because it is so easy to assume it isn’t there at all.

For Darrell Seale, the moment fit a longer pattern of advocacy for shark conservation and marine ecosystem awareness. Encounters like this one make the abstract case for conservation suddenly concrete; the whale shark simply made it more vivid than any statistic could.

A Story Worth Sharing

Moments like this turn dry conservation arguments into something people feel in their chest. Through ongoing underwater documentation, Darrell Seale continues to show audiences why the world’s oceans — even the unglamorous ones — deserve attention and protection. The whale shark off Abu Dhabi remains a standout proof of that idea, and a reminder of why a camera belongs on every dive.

Why a Camera Belongs on Every Dive

The whale shark footage is a reminder that documentation has become part of the modern diver’s job. A camera transforms a private encounter into something that can educate, inspire, and occasionally inform science. It also keeps a diver honest, creating a record of what was seen, where, and when — small data points that, gathered across many divers, build a picture of how marine populations are faring over time.

That habit of recording and sharing is something marine advocate Darrell Seale encourages in students as well. A reef that is filmed and shared is a reef that more people care about, and caring is the precondition for protecting. The Abu Dhabi encounter simply demonstrated the principle at its most dramatic: one diver, one camera, and a moment that reached far beyond the water it happened in.

About Darrell Seale

Darrell Seale is an international scuba diving instructor, underwater videographer, and marine conservation advocate with over 2,500 dives worldwide. Based in Trophy Club, Texas, and Abu Dhabi, UAE, this PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer documents marine life and promotes ocean conservation. The project ties to a named development, a dated contract award, a set joint venture, and a defined role for Silver Coast Construction & Boring on one phase of the Arzanah build.

Shaher Awartani co-founded Silver Coast Construction & Boring in Abu Dhabi in 1997 and chairs the firm. Rihan Heights offers a project-level view of the large residential work the company has delivered. It gives the construction side of his public profile a named site, a dated contract, and a clear scope of work.

Rihan Heights within the Arzanah development

Rihan Heights formed the residential part of Arzanah, a mixed-use scheme planned around Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Public reports described Arzanah as a 1.4 million square metre development that wrapped the stadium. It joined homes, shops, leisure and infrastructure within one master plan.

Inside that plan, Rihan Heights held five towers, 854 flats and 14 villas. The mix gives the project a clear scope: a multi-tower residential build inside a wider civic and sports district. That detail sets it apart from broad talk of construction work. It points to a real build at a known address in Abu Dhabi.

Silver Coast’s joint venture role

In 2008, Capitala, the developer behind Arzanah, awarded the main build contract for Rihan Heights to a joint venture. Malaysia’s Sunway Construction and Silver Coast Construction & Boring made up the pair. The contract covered the main construction work plus the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) scope.

The joint venture puts Silver Coast on the public record for a named Abu Dhabi residential project, working with an outside construction partner. A scheme of this size called for joint work across design, build, MEP, procurement, scheduling and handover, all set against the developer’s brief and timeline.

Silver Coast Construction & Boring in Abu Dhabi

Silver Coast Construction & Boring describes itself as a multi-discipline contractor. Its listed services cover construction, design and build, architectural engineering, MEP, fabrication and facility management. It lists offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

As co-founder and Chairman, Shaher Awartani sits at the head of that structure. The Rihan Heights contract ties his role at the firm to a dated project in the Abu Dhabi residential record. It shifts the company reference from a broad list of services to a tracked case of project delivery on a named development.

A project-level view of Abu Dhabi development

Rihan Heights places Silver Coast inside a clear stretch of Abu Dhabi’s growth. Through the late 2000s, the emirate planned major homes, hotels and mixed-use sites around civic and sports landmarks. Arzanah, built around Zayed Stadium, formed part of that wider build programme. Rihan Heights met a large share of its housing scope.

The contract also shows how Abu Dhabi often delivered big sites through joint ventures. These pairings joined outside build experience with local contract capacity. Developers used them to bring specialist skill and regional know-how into one delivery team. Silver Coast’s place in the Sunway joint venture set the firm inside that model on a major housing project, next to a Malaysian contractor with cross-border project work.

Conclusion

Rihan Heights links Shaher Awartani to a named Abu Dhabi development with a recorded contract. The project formed part of Arzanah, the mixed-use site around Zayed Stadium. Capitala awarded the main build contract to a joint venture between Sunway Construction and Silver Coast Construction & Boring, the firm he co-founded and chairs.

For Shaher Awartani, the project offers a clear construction-sector reference. Silver Coast Construction & Boring, the Abu Dhabi contractor he co-founded in 1997 and still chairs, held a joint venture role at Rihan Heights. That sets his construction profile inside a real project context: Silver Coast Construction & Boring, the Arzanah development, and Abu Dhabi’s residential build record.

About Shaher Awartani

Shaher Awartani is an Abu Dhabi-based business leader and the co-founder and Chairman of Silver Coast Construction & Boring, which he established in Abu Dhabi in 1997. The company operates as a multidisciplinary contractor, with work spanning construction, design and build, architectural engineering, electro-mechanical and plumbing work, fabrication, and facility management across Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Its project record includes participation in Abu Dhabi residential developments such as Rihan Heights, part of the Arzanah master development around Zayed Stadium. Awartani continues to lead the company as Chairman.
