Aldhafra Resort, Vignette Collection by IHG, invites guests to experience a desert stay at the edge of Abu Dhabi’s Empty Quarter during Ramadan. Iftar and Suhoor are served against the backdrop of dunes and open skies. The resort offers a Ramadan stay focused on reflection, togetherness and Arabian hospitality.

Bookings are open for stays from 19th February to 18th March with a special offer for the holy month. The resort’s Ramadan offer includes daily Iftar and Suhoor. Guests receive two complimentary activities per stay, plus full access to all resort facilities.

In-house guests break their fast with a caramelised medjool date before the Iftar spread. The buffet features cold and hot mezze, from hummus and baba ghanouj to warak enab, sambousek and seasonal salads. The main course blends regional favourites with comforting dishes, including slow-cooked lamb harees, kebbeh bil laban and vegetable moussaka, alongside butter chicken in tomato gravy. Live stations serve freshly carved chicken shawarma and slow-roasted lamb ouzi over fragrant Arabic rice. Traditional desserts include mahalabia topped with pistachios and umm ali. Iftar is priced at AED 185 per person.

Suhoor is offered in three formats, allowing guests to choose the experience that suits their stay. The resort’s family-style Suhoor is served to the table and designed for sharing. The meal features freshly baked breads, hot and cold mezze, followed by grilled shish kebab and kofta, with traditional Arabic desserts and seasonal fruit to finish. For groups of 50 guests and above, the resort offers a buffet-style Suhoor, featuring aromatic vegetable biryani, slow-stewed foul medames and Arabic mixed grill, alongside the resort’s signature mezze.

For guests seeking a quieter start to the morning, in-room dining Suhoor is available. Options include grilled halloumi, Arabic shakshuka, za’atar labneh and a warm bread basket, complemented by tea, coffee and speciality juices.

Suhoor is offered from 10:00pm to 4:00am, with family-style priced at AED 175 per person, buffet-style priced at AED 170 per person, and in-room dining priced at AED 130 per person.

At Aldhafra Resort, Vignette Collection by IHG, days unfold at an unhurried pace. During the day, guests can use the infinity pool overlooking the dunes, take part in complimentary desert activities such as camel trekking or stargazing, or explore the surrounding landscape. As evening falls, the resort’s desert setting provides a backdrop for shared moments and quiet reflection, offering a Ramadan stay shaped by space, stillness and connection.

Aldhafra Resort, Vignette Collection by IHG, suits couples, families and small groups seeking a quieter way to observe the holy month. The resort offers a Ramadan stay within a desert landscape that reflects the rhythm of the season.
