Blume is serving a Ramadan Iftar called Gatherings of the Silk Road throughout the Holy Month. The four-course menu draws on the food traditions of the historic caravan routes and costs AED 240 per person.
The Iftar runs daily from 6pm to 8pm during Ramadan. The menu features shared dishes for sunset dining with family, friends and groups.
Blume operates in two locations with different atmospheres. The Dubai Mall site in Fashion Avenue uses train carriage interiors. The Dubai Marina branch features garden-inspired design and waterfront views.
The meal starts with sharing plates: warm breads, house dips, stuffed vine leaves, aged tulum with burnt butter, Ajwa and Medjoul dates, and a seasonal salad with olive oil and lemon.
Guests then choose between lentil soup with butter, cumin and sweet paprika, or the soup of the day. Hot starters follow for the table to share, including pan-sautéed calf liver with spices, Turkish kol böreği, Ashur slow-cooked cracked wheat and meat stew, and icli kofte.
Main courses offer several choices. Options include slow-cooked lamb shoulder with rice pilaf, pistachio and brown butter, grilled chicken skewers with roasted pepper and tomato, Ali Nazik, Turkish manti, and the chef’s dish of the day.
Dessert selection includes baked rice pudding with roasted hazelnuts, gullach with milk-soaked pastry sheets, pistachio and pomegranate seeds, or Umm Ali baked bread pudding with milk and mixed nuts. Water, Turkish tea and şerbet are included with the Iftar.
