Bossman’s Burgr Factory, the Romanian burger restaurant on Jumeirah Beach Road, is celebrating five years in the UAE. The Umm Suqeim 1 venue was the brand’s first branch outside Romania, and it opened because fans who had followed the concept online asked owner Alin Ciobanu, known to customers as Bossman, to bring it to Dubai.
From Bucharest to Jumeirah
The brand runs five branches in Bucharest, so Dubai was a big step. Teaser advertising sent from Romania introduced the name to the city before the doors opened. Ciobanu also sees Dubai as a stepping stone, because the United States is the market he wants to reach next, and he chose a city with an international crowd and a role as a global hub.

The location came with a story of its own. While visiting the premises with his brother, Ciobanu spotted a sign left behind by the previous tenant, a fine dining restaurant. It read: “If you are looking for a sign, this is it.” He kept it, and it still hangs in the restaurant as a reminder of where the Dubai story began.
After five years, he says, what matters most is seeing guests come back and bring their friends. “Every recipe has my personal touch, and that will always be at the heart of Bossman’s,” he said.
What is on the plate
The burgers use premium Wagyu and Angus cuts, and Ciobanu marinates the meat himself every day. The buns, the sauces and the fried chicken all follow his own recipes, which gives the oversized portions a house character rather than just size.

The restaurant describes itself as a hidden gem for anyone after generous servings, and its late hours suit a post-beach or after-midnight burger run. If you are planning a wider food trip along the coast, our guide to the best restaurants in Dubai by neighbourhood is a useful companion.
