Talia Rida, a 17-year-old Dubai student, is launching her debut children’s book, The Gifted Garden, on Wednesday 21 October. The book was inspired by her personal journey with ADHD and celebrates neurodiversity, individuality and belonging.
The launch takes place during ADHD Awareness Month. Its organisers say it highlights how young voices like Talia’s can help raise awareness and encourage more inclusive conversations around different ways of learning and growing.
The evening includes a book reading at 7pm. Journalists have been invited to meet Talia, hear more about her story and the book, and cover the milestone, and have been asked to RSVP before 20 October.
