Seasonal flavours, traditional favourites and in-room comfort, served from sunset through the early hours

Grand Mercure Business Bay has launched Ramadan dining with an Iftar buffet at Café Délices’ alfresco dining area overlooking Dubai Water Canal and Burj Khalifa. The experience includes classic dishes, live stations and dessert selections.

Ramadan brings familiar rituals for residents and tourists: the first sip of laban, soup at sunset and tables that fill with conversation as the evening develops.

The Iftar serves from sunset at AED 129 per adult. Children under 6 years old eat for free, while AED 79 applies to children aged 6 to 12. The buffet features traditional Ramadan juices such as jalab, kamar al dein or tamer hindi, alongside soups including lentil, chicken orzo or Moroccan harira. The main spread includes crowd-pleasing grills and regional favourites, with highlights that may feature mixed grill (kofta kebab, shish taouk, shish kebab), kossa bil laban, Bahraini thareed, Arabic specialities’ Ouzi and chicken machboos complemented by seasonal sides and international dishes. The live Arabian grill carvery pairs with freshly baked Arabic breads in flavours like zaatar, sesame and chilli.

Dessert options can include cheese kunafa, qatayef (katatef) with keshta, saffron muhallabieh, sutlac, date cheesecake, a dates tower and assorted Arabic sweets.

Grand Mercure Business Bay offers Suhoor through in-room service. A Suhoor set menu costs AED 75 per person, with an à la carte selection starting from AED 25. The service runs from late night until early morning for guests who prefer a private pre-dawn meal.
