No Screens, No Rush: Lemonade Play Gives Abu Dhabi’s Youngest A New Space to Imagine and Discover

“A purpose-built play new destination for children aged 1 to 7, built on the idea that discovery, not entertainment, is what childhood needs most”

For Abu Dhabi families searching for a break from screens without compromising on quality time with their little ones, Lemonade Play & Discovery Centre at Marina Mall is now open and offering exactly that. In a city where indoor play options are growing but rarely built with a toddler’s pace in mind, Lemonade gives parents a destination designed for children aged 1 to 7, where imagination, not entertainment, takes the lead, and where a trip with the little ones no longer means spending the whole visit on high alert.

The Lemonade Experience: Where Imagination Comes First

Lemonade has been built around a simple conviction: that children learn best not by swiping, tapping or watching, but by doing. Every corner of the centre is designed for hands-on learning, creativity, and imaginative play, giving children the freedom to explore through role play, sensory experiences, building, making, movement, and open-ended discovery, rather than screens or passive entertainment. Children are invited to construct, invent, dress up, move and make-believe, developing the kind of confidence and problem-solving instinct that comes from unstructured, child-led discovery.

A particular focus for Lemonade Abu Dhabi is its dedicated, age-appropriate zones for babies, toddlers, and younger children. Any parent of a toddler will recognise a particular kind of anxiety: walking into a large indoor play centre, only to spend the entire visit on alert and feeling overwhelmed by much bigger children. At Lemonade, that worry has been designed out from the start. Rather than confining babies and toddlers to a small, gated corner of a bigger play space, the centre gives its youngest guests purpose-built opportunities to explore, create, imagine and play, in an environment designed to their size, and their stage of development.

The result is a fresh, purposeful alternative to traditional indoor play: a destination where children can simply have fun while naturally developing key early-years skills, and where parents can feel confident that their child’s playtime is both meaningful and enjoyable, rather than a matter of chance.

    Great Value & Flexible Packages

Lemonade Play Abu Dhabi offers 1.5-hour play sessions from AED 95 for a first child, alongside full-day passes at AED 180. For those looking to make play part of the weekly routine, Lemonade also offers a Family Play Plan (AED 850 for 15 hours of play, any day, any time), a Monthly Midweek plan (AED 900 for a daily 90-minute session, Monday to Friday) and a three-month Play Plan (AED 2,200), giving families the flexibility to visit as often as suits them.

Lemonade also takes the stress out of birthdays, bringing together private party rooms, dedicated hosts, themed décor, kids’ meals, organised games and playtime in one seamless package, with upgrades available including face painting, confetti blasts and balloon gifts.

Lemonade Play & Discovery Centre is located at Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi, alongside sister branches at Arabian Center and Triple 777 Center in Dubai. For visits, bookings and current play options, please visit www.lemonadeplay.ae or follow @lemonadeplayuae.
