Could Dubai be the next backdrop for a Selling Sunset spin-off? Here’s what Jason Oppenheim had to say.
Selling Sunset is the Netflix real estate hit that’s had us glued to screens since 2019, following the cutthroat agents at The Oppenheim Group as they sell some of LA’s most jaw-dropping homes. Now, the brokerage is bringing that same energy to Dubai.
The Los Angeles-based agency, co-founded by Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim, has picked Dubai as the location for its fifth global office, joining existing branches in West Hollywood, Newport Beach, San Diego and Cabo San Lucas.
Why Dubai, Why Now

In a recent interview, Oppenheim described Dubai as an important market he couldn’t pass up, and said expanding here felt like a natural move. He pointed to the overlap between his Southern California clientele and the city, noting that many of his clients split their time between the two, or travel back and forth regularly.
The brokerage, now operating under the name The O Group, is setting up shop in a 7,000 square foot office in Bluewaters, with views over Ain Dubai. Renders shared on The O Group’s UAE website suggest the space will match the brand’s signature polish, with double-height windows, sleek desks, a pool table, lounge areas and a marble coffee bar all part of the design.

Leading the Dubai team is Omar Abaza, a long-time friend of Jason Oppenheim, with around 20 agents already on board at The O Group Dubai.
Could Selling Sunset Follow?
Jason Oppenheim certainly seems open to it. While Season 10 is currently in production, he shared that filming in Dubai could realistically be on the cards for Season 11 — and if a full show comes out of it, even better.
