X Distrikt Brings Four Worlds of Interactive Entertainment Under One Roof at Dubai Festival City Mall

As entertainment continues to move beyond passive experiences, X Distrikt is bringing together four distinct worlds of interactive play, technology, adventure and discovery under one roof at Dubai Festival City Mall.

Spanning more than 62,000 square feet and featuring more than 100 activities, X Distrikt is designed as a multi-experience entertainment destination where families, friends, gamers and groups can move between different forms of play, from immersive combat simulation and virtual reality to physical challenges and hands-on learning.

Rather than focusing on one type of attraction, X Distrikt brings together four individual concepts, each offering a different way to experience entertainment.

    Xstrike Outpost: Enter the Battlefield

For those looking for competition, strategy and adrenaline, Xstrike Outpost is the new branch of the popular Xstrike Al Quoz, bringing its established combat simulation experience to a new location. Players enter immersive missions where teamwork, communication and tactical thinking become part of the game, creating an experience designed for both friendly competition and group play.

The experience also extends beyond casual visits, with Xstrike Outpost offering group and corporate team-building formats designed around communication, leadership, collaboration and competitive play.

    woo-hoo!: Learning Through Play

Designed for children, woo-hoo! is an interactive children’s museum where learning happens through hands-on exploration. Created for children aged 0-12, its galleries encourage curiosity, creativity and discovery through experiences that bring concepts to life.

From Builders’ Bay, where children can explore engineering and construction through mini cranes and diggers, to Discovery Grove, an interactive science and nature gallery exploring subjects including renewable energy, weather, sound, water and solar power, woo-hoo! combines education with active, imaginative play.

Following six years at its original Al Quoz location, woo-hoo! is now continuing its journey at Dubai Festival City Mall as part of X Distrikt, bringing its focus on hands-on learning, curiosity and discovery to a new generation of families.

    DARE: Where Every Challenge Counts

At DARE, entertainment gets physical. The indoor adventure park brings together obstacle challenges, climbing attractions, mixed-reality experiences and competitive games designed to test agility, balance, speed, focus and determination.

Its attractions include Haraka Hub, a high-energy challenge zone combining climbing, jumping and skill-based obstacles; Freej Tahaddi, a full-body obstacle course; Motion Meydan, a free-roam augmented-reality playground; and Barq Blitz, a multi-level arena where players complete missions, collect tags and compete against the clock.

With challenges designed for visitors aged five and above, DARE offers an alternative to more passive indoor entertainment, encouraging visitors to move, compete and test themselves while having fun.

    multiVRse: Step Into Another Reality

Bringing technology into the mix, multiVRse is a virtual and augmented reality experience where visitors aged 10 and above can step into digital worlds, interactive adventures and next-generation gaming experiences. While designed for younger players, the experience is equally popular with adults, combining technology, movement and gaming to create an immersive experience that friends and family can enjoy together.

Together, the four concepts create a destination that reflects the changing way people spend their leisure time: seeking experiences that are interactive, social, active and worth sharing. With a mix of activities designed for different ages and interests, X Distrikt is an entertainment destination designed to bring children, teenagers and adults together under one roof.

    More Than a Day Out

X Distrikt is also designed to become a destination that visitors can return to regularly, with monthly and annual membership options available across its experiences. The flagship X Distrikt membership provides unlimited access to woo-hoo! DARE and multiVRse, alongside two Xstrike passes per month, with annual membership offering additional benefits including birthday discounts, camp discounts, member events and priority access.

The destination also caters to occasions beyond everyday visits. Birthday party packages bring together attractions and immersive games for celebrations, while corporate group bookings and team-building sessions offer companies an alternative setting for bringing teams together through interactive challenges and shared experiences. X Distrikt also accommodates school trips, family gatherings and other group occasions.

Located on the second floor of Dubai Festival City Mall, X Distrikt offers an indoor destination where visitors can play, compete, explore and connect, with experiences designed for different ages, interests and levels of adventure.

Operating hours are Monday to Thursday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, Friday to Sunday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM.
