This Halloween, Amaru Restaurant & Lounge becomes The AMARU Masquerade, an immersive dinner and late-night celebration that blends the mystery of Halloween with the colour, symbolism and festive spirit of Día de los Muertos. The evening takes place at the Latin American venue’s atmospheric home in Souk Madinat Jumeirah.
Four chapters, one night
The evening unfolds across four chapters: The Veil, The Awakening, El Fuego and La Celebración, moving guests from dinner into a high-energy after-dark party. Curated projection mapping transforms the architecture around them, while live performances by a singer, dancers and a fire performer steadily build the mood. In the final chapter, the DJ takes over and the night becomes a full-scale late-night celebration.
The setting
The transformation spans the entire venue, from the entrance and the striking Mayan calendar wall to the DJ booth and bar. Candlelight, deep reds, marigold tones, florals and theatrical imagery create a world suspended between mystery and celebration.
For a more intimate start, guests can begin with dinner at La Galería, Amaru’s second-floor dining space, before heading downstairs to join the party.
What’s included
The experience brings together a curated dining journey, projection mapping, live entertainment and masks, along with an exclusive Halloween dessert and a signature beverage created for the occasion. Guests are encouraged to dress for the theme and enter the Best Dressed Masquerade, with the winner receiving a return dining experience for two.
