A Russian restaurant group has opened its first location in the region.
Coffeemania GCC has launched at Dubai Hills Mall, marking the brand’s entry into the Middle East. The concept is rooted in modern European cuisine and has built a strong following on the back of its coffee programme.
The restaurant suits multiple occasions. Breakfast runs until noon on weekdays and until 2pm at weekends. Lunch and dinner are also served, making it a practical option across the day.
The drinks menu covers matcha, chocolate-based drinks and fruit infusions including mango and passion fruit, and sea buckthorn and rosehip. The tea selection pulls from Indian and Chinese sources for those who prefer a more traditional cup.
The breakfast menu features potato omelettes topped with salmon, fried eggs with chanterelles, dranik with Kamchatka crab, and Swedish toast layered with salmon. Yoghurts and cheeses are also available. For an upgrade, sturgeon caviar comes served with plain or flavoured blinis.
Coffee sits at the centre of what Coffeemania does. The team is credited with creating Raf Coffee, a drink that has since spread well beyond its origins. It is made from lactose-free cream whipped with espresso, vanilla and cane sugar using steam, producing a smooth, full-bodied cup. It is a reasonable place to start for first-time visitors.
The dessert selection is built around the signature Gloria cake, with a rotating range of pastries and cakes made on site. Celebration cakes are available to order, which works well for birthdays or group gatherings.
The interior features a Murano glass chandelier and a curated selection of artworks. A terrace extends the space and provides open views, suited to daytime visits or early evening dining.
Coffeemania GCC plans to roll out seasonal menus and limited-edition drinks through the year. A recent collaboration with influencer Youmi produced a Pistachio Latte as part of that programme.
The restaurant brings a clear point of view: modern European food, a serious breakfast culture, and a coffee heritage with international recognition. It is a considered addition to Dubai’s dining scene.
