    From a Japanese pop-up at a golf club restaurant to a cabaret dinner show entering its final week, here’s a roundup of what’s worth booking around Dubai right now.

    New Menus & Restaurant Specials

    Ranches Restaurant, Arabian Ranches Golf Club — available all day until 31 August, prices vary Forget the usual summer menu and go Japanese for the week. Ranches Restaurant is serving a limited-time Japanese menu featuring sushi and comforting Japanese classics.

    Arabian Ranches Golf Club Residents’ Monday — Monday, 24 August, 12pm–9pm, 30% off with AED 100 minimum spend If you live in the neighbourhood, Monday just got a little more appealing. Residents can enjoy 30% off their total bill when spending a minimum of AED 100.

    Reform Social & Grill, The Lakes Dubai — available throughout the week, prices vary New Burger Menu: Reform has switched things up with a brand-new burger menu, bringing a fresh lineup of burgers to its Lakeside dining spot. Expect proper comfort food, generous portions and the laid-back Reform atmosphere it’s known for.

    Skyline Dining & Set Menus

    La Vue on 51st, Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk — Tuesday–Saturday, welcome drink from 6:30–7:30pm, dinner from 7:30–10:30pm, AED 225 per person Take dinner up a level with La Vue on 51st’s three-course seasonal menu, complete with a welcome sunset beverage and skyline views.

    Peacock Alley Signature Afternoon Tea, DIFC — daily from 2pm–6pm, AED 225 Swap your usual coffee run for something a little more indulgent. Peacock Alley’s signature afternoon tea brings together sweet and savoury bites in an elegant DIFC setting.

    The Pods’ Signature Dining Experience, Bluewaters Island — available throughout the week, opening hours apply, from AED 237.50 Head to Bluewaters for The Pods’ signature dining experience, combining a menu designed for sharing with one of Dubai’s more unusual dining settings — private glass domes overlooking the skyline.

    Dinner & a Show

    DREAM Dinner Show, Address Beach Resort, Dubai Marina — Thursday–Saturday, AED 800 Dinner and a show, but make it seriously theatrical. DREAM combines a Mediterranean menu with live performances, acrobatics and an after-party that carries on late into the night.

    The Theater Award Winning Dinner Show, Fairmont Hotel, Trade Centre First Dubai — evenings until 30 August, AED 350 An evening of dining and live entertainment, with multiple performances woven throughout the meal. It’s running until the end of August, making this the final week to catch it.

    Cultural & Leisurely Lunches

    SMCCU Cultural Brunch, Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood — Friday, 28 August at 10:30am, AED 130 per person Spend Friday morning with a traditional Emirati brunch at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding.     Weekend Brunch & Buffets

    Bar du Port Brunch du Port, Dubai Harbour — Saturday, 29 August from 1pm–5pm, packages from AED 350 French-inspired dishes, global flavours, resident DJ beats and Dubai Harbour views make this a strong contender for Saturday plans.

    Dinner Buffet at Gastronomy, Atlantis The Royal — daily, 6pm–10pm, AED 355 per person When choosing one dish is simply too difficult, there’s always the buffet. Gastronomy at Atlantis The Royal serves an extensive international spread with live cooking stations, fresh seafood, meats and desserts.
