Isabella Cucina Italiana is marking Negroni Week this September with a dedicated 13-cocktail menu celebrating Italy’s most iconic aperitivo, running from 21 to 27 September. The lineup ranges from traditional pours to modern reinterpretations, playing with different base spirits, flavour profiles and styles. Anchoring the collection is Sette Settimane (Seven Weeks in Oak) — a single barrel-aged batch left to rest for seven weeks before service began, poured only until stock runs out.
The Classics
The Originals section keeps things traditional with Il Conte (The Negroni), Prima Sera (Americano) and Bellissimo Sbaglio (Negroni Sbagliato) — a trio built on the aperitivo’s original foundations.
Swapping the Spirit
Spirit Swaps reworks the formula with different base spirits: Una Notte a Parigi (Boulevardier) leans on bourbon, Febbre Tropicale (Kingston Negroni) brings in aged Jamaican rum, and Fumo e Fuoco (Mezcal Negroni) trades gin for mezcal.
Lighter Pours and Modern Twists
The Drier & Lighter category offers Il Cardinale (Cardinale) and Giardino Bianco (White Negroni) for a gentler take, while Modern Riffs delivers Cuore Amaro (Cynar Negroni) and Seta e Limone (Negroni Sour) for guests after something less conventional.
House Exclusives
Casa Isabella showcases the bar’s own creations: Notte Italiana (Italian Night), a Campari-based pour infused with coffee and white chocolate, and Arancia Ribelle (The Rebel Orange), made with orange peel-infused gin, Campari and orange liqueur. Topping the list is Sette Settimane (Seven Weeks in Oak) — a Negroni aged seven weeks in barrel, made with barrel-aged gin, Campari, sweet vermouth and orange oils, poured in extremely limited quantity.
“We filled the barrel seven weeks before the menu opened, and there is only one of it,” says Oliver Morales, Bar Manager at Isabella Cucina. “Seven weeks is where the gin and the Campari stop arguing and start agreeing. When this batch is finished, that is the end of it — we would rather wait than rush the next one.”
Running exclusively from 21 to 27 September 2026, all 13 cocktails are priced at AED 55 each, giving guests a chance to work through multiple expressions of the Negroni in one sitting at Isabella Cucina Italiana. The menu balances the familiar with the experimental, making it a solid stop for Negroni purists and curious first-timers alike.
