Bonci, City Centre Mirdif
Rome's pizza al taglio name opened a full sit-down Italian restaurant at Chef's Society. Every base starts with a proprietary flour blend and 48 hours of fermentation. Open daily 9am to midnight, with prices from AED 50. Read the full story.

October has a World Pasta Day collection, available 1 to 31 October, with World Pasta Day itself on 25 October and prices starting at AED 100. The Pausa Pranzo business lunch is AED 75 for two courses and AED 90 for three, Monday to Friday, 12pm to 3pm. A weekly programme built around Italian dining: a three-course Pranzo lunch at AED 135 from Tuesday to Friday, 12pm to 7pm, and unlimited pasta and spritz at AED 195 on Thursday evenings, 8pm to 11pm, as announced in August. Read the full story.
Za'Za' Slice Bar, Gate Avenue, DIFC. A by-the-slice pizza bar serving New York-style, New Haven-inspired pizzas. It is the brand's fifth UAE outpost and its first with a full drinks menu. Read the full story.

Luciano's, Al Habtoor Grand Resort, JBR

Isabella Cucina Italiana, Vida Hills Hotel
Golden Hour runs daily from 5pm to 7pm, with the first Aperol Spritz on the house. The restaurant marked its second anniversary on 7 September with a three-course menu at AED 222. Golden Hour and anniversary.
Cucina, Palm West Beach. The trattoria's Sips and Serenata runs every Wednesday from 7pm: two hours of free-flowing wine carafes and a sharing board for AED 299 per couple. Read the full story.
