Dubai’s original by-the-slice pizza bar has landed in DIFC, marking Za’Za’ Slice’s fifth UAE outpost — and its first with a full drinks menu.
Set at Gate Avenue, the new venue is Za’Za’s first fully licensed location in the UAE, bringing its signature New York-style, New Haven-inspired pizzas to the city’s financial district. The opening is the latest from Dubai-born hospitality group TABLE4TWO, the team also behind Rascals, Rascals Bakehouse, DIME and Apollo.
The Pizza
Founded by Talal Hizami in 2023, Za’Za’ has built its name on a thin, crunchy crust and Italian-inspired ingredients, with everything — dough, tomato sauce, dips — made in-house. The DIFC menu holds onto favourites like the House Margherita, Pepp and Italian Sausage, while introducing new additions including the Tricolore, The Red, Tartufo and Alabama Smoke. For bigger groups, full 20-inch pies are also available to share.
Beyond pizza, the menu covers a Caesar Salad, Pepp Chips, Truffle Fries and Cacio e Pepe Fries, plus a lineup of dips — Garlic Herb, Pesto Herb and House Hot Honey. To finish, there’s Chocolate Tres Leches, OG Tiramisu and a New York Cheesecake with raspberry compote.
The Drinks
The standout addition at this location is Za’Za’s first-ever licensed beverage programme. Expect classic spritzes, a curated wine list, draught and bottled beer, and a spirits selection spanning vodka, gin, tequila, rum and whisky.
The Vibe
True to form, the DIFC branch keeps the brand’s signature red-and-white checkerboard interiors, counter-style ordering and buzzy pizzeria energy — built for everything from a quick weekday lunch to after-work drinks.
