Georgian hospitality has arrived in the middle of Dubai’s business district. Shvili has opened in DIFC, and it’s the first licensed venue for Tigrus Holdings and Shvili’s first licensed location in the UAE.
Built around the table
The restaurant is inspired by a Georgian tradition of gathering around a table to share food and wine. Expect big tables and a menu made for passing plates around.
What’s on the menu
- Khinkali: handmade dumplings filled with seasoned meat and a hearty broth
- Khachapuri: freshly baked Georgian cheese bread
- Appetiser plates: Georgian starters for the table
- Ketsi dishes: food cooked and served in traditional clay pans
- Grilled meats and vegetarian options
- Georgian wines: a carefully chosen selection
Why it’s worth a visit
DIFC has plenty of polished dining rooms, but few are built around sharing. Shvili is a good pick for a team dinner or a long lunch with friends, especially if you haven’t tried Georgian food before.
