Cucina, the trattoria at Palm West Beach, is turning Wednesday evenings into a small Italian escape with Sips & Serenata, a weekly celebration of the classic aperitivo tradition. The next edition takes place tonight, Wednesday 30 September, and it runs every Wednesday from 7pm until late.
What’s on offer
For AED 299 per couple, guests receive two hours of free-flowing vino carafes along with the Tagliere dello Chef, a sharing board of Italian cheeses and a chef’s selection of beef or pork cold cuts. Those wanting more to nibble on can add arancini, bruschetta, focaccina, marinated Apulian olives or fried calamari, with prices starting from AED 10. The à la carte menu is also available all evening.
Live entertainment
Setting the mood is Verou Poli, a familiar name on Dubai’s live music scene for her one-woman-band shows. Combining vocals, piano, percussion and live looping, she performs a mix of classics and contemporary favourites in both English and Italian.
