Kairos Coffee Assembly Adds Breakfast, Five Matcha Drinks and a Diwali Charm Workshop on 7 November

Kairos Coffee Assembly in Al Quoz Creative Zone has added a new breakfast menu and five matcha drinks, and is marking Diwali with a limited edition croissant pudding and a charm-making workshop on Saturday 7 November.

A slow breakfast next to the roaster

Kairos says it is home to the UAE’s first Bellwether Shop Roaster, so breakfast comes with coffee roasted a few feet from the table and the smell of fresh bread from the kitchen. The Breakfast Burrito is the signature dish, alongside The Kairos Breakfast, Grilled Peaches and Hot Honey on ricotta sourdough, and a French toast finished with clotted cream and saffron honey. Pastries such as the Toasted Banana Bread with Espresso Butter are baked fresh each morning, and everything is made from scratch.

Five matcha drinks

The new matcha menu has five drinks priced from AED 32 to AED 40. It starts with a classic Matcha Latte and moves on to lighter iced drinks such as Matcha Lemonade and the Matcha Cloud, which is poured over chilled coconut water. Kairos says the Strawberry Matcha is already a favourite with regulars, and the Mango Matcha comes as a two-tone pour.

Diwali pudding and a charm workshop

For Diwali, Kairos is selling a limited edition Cashewnut Croissant Pudding all week and through the festival. The croissants are baked in house, filled with homemade cashew custard and baked a second time, then finished with cashew praline and rose petals. It is made to share, or to take along when visiting family.

On Saturday 7 November from 4pm, Kairos hosts a charm-making workshop with Dubai jewellery brand Black Pearl, where guests choose their charms and make their own piece by hand. Places cost AED 250 per person, including a drink from the menu, and are booked through Black Pearl.
