Mausam, the Indian restaurant in Dubai Mall, is marking Diwali with an all-day set menu on 8 November. Called Flavors of India, it costs AED 189 per person and is served with views of the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain. The restaurant says the aim is to capture the colour, warmth and culinary traditions of the Festival of Lights in a meal for family and friends.
What is on the menu
The menu travels across India, bringing together street food, kebabs, regional curries and festive desserts. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian diners each get their own selection, so a mixed group can share the same table without compromise.
On the vegetarian side, the Purple Potato Chaat combines crispy purple potato, cassava and kale with a tangy raisin chutney. It sits alongside the Bikaneri Paneer Tikka and the rich Paneer Qasr-e-Pukhtan.

Meat eaters can look to the Murgh Bikaneri Tikka and the Gosht Pasanda Kebab. The Zafrani Murgh Korma is a comforting chicken dish simmered in a gravy of onion, cashew and yoghurt.
Dessert brings Badam Halwa Tartlets served with kulfi ice cream, plus Mawa Chandrika, a flaky pastry filled with khoya and nuts and soaked in saffron sugar syrup.
The setting
Mausam presents the set menu as a leisurely occasion for families and friends, in the heart of Downtown Dubai. The restaurant describes the mix as traditional Indian hospitality alongside contemporary cooking, with the fountain and the tower as the backdrop to the meal.
The set menu is offered on one date only, 8 November, so it is worth reserving ahead. For more ways to mark the festival, from set menus to an exhibition and a free community celebration, see our guide to Diwali in Dubai 2026.
