Outside The Box Events will stage its Christmas production Mission Elf-Possible for school groups at Theatre by QE2, aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2 at Port Rashid, on 8, 9 and 10 December 2026. Each day will have performances at 9am and 11am, and the show is designed for pupils in Years 1 to 5, aged 5 to 10.
The school shows are for pre-booked groups only. Public performances of Mission Elf-Possible will also take place at Theatre by QE2 on 5, 6 and 12 December 2026.
The story
When Santa’s Nice List mysteriously disappears, two elf agents, Holly and Pepper, must work together to save Christmas before it is too late. Each time Santa sends top secret instructions, the message self destructs in ten seconds. The production mixes live theatre, music, dance and visuals, runs for about 50 to 60 minutes and is performed in English.
The producers say the show is built around learning outcomes for primary pupils: teamwork and cooperation, problem solving and creative thinking, friendship and kindness, confidence and perseverance, and responsibility and time management.
“We created Mission Elf-Possible because we believe theatre can deliver real learning while still being enormous fun,” said Robert Duce of Theatre by QE2.
Tickets for schools
Tickets are AED 85 per student including VAT, and teachers and adult chaperones go free at a ratio of one adult to ten students. Schools that need extra support for younger pupils or pupils with special educational needs are asked to mention it when they enquire.
