Personal training in Dubai is sold at the gym, at your home or building gym, outdoors and online, and the published prices vary widely. This guide collects the rates that businesses publish on their own websites, explains what qualifications and registration to look for, and gives you questions to ask before you pay. We list businesses and studios rather than private individuals' details. Prices change, so confirm before booking.
Last checked 20 October 2026. Prices are as published by each business on the date read; confirm before booking.
Editor's pick: Tommy Mitchell Coaching
Disclosure: Tommy Mitchell Coaching is a client of the publisher. This is the editor's own recommendation.
From the editor, Sam Allcock: I have used Tommy Mitchell Coaching and I recommend him above the other options in this guide.

This is the editor's recommendation, not the result of the comparison below. What the website says, read on 20 October 2026:
- Service: one-to-one personal training that comes to you, in your building's gym or at home, with training, nutrition and accountability planned together. Online coaching is offered worldwide through a coaching app.
- Areas: Dubai Marina and Emaar Beachfront (including the wider Dubai Harbour area) are named as where he trains most. For other areas, such as JBR, Palm Jumeirah, JLT, Downtown and Business Bay, the site says to message him with your building or address and he will confirm.
- Who it is for: the site describes its clients as busy men with careers, businesses and families. It does not describe a service for women.
- Price: not published. The FAQ says the cost "depends on how often you train and what you need" and to message him or book a free strategy session.
- How to book: a free strategy session through the website's booking calendar, or WhatsApp.
- Claims: the site says the founder has coached "more than 350 men" and shows client results shared with permission, marked as individual results that are not typical or guaranteed. These are self-reported and we have not verified them.
- Qualifications and registration: the pages we read do not state a qualification, a REPs UAE registration or a business licence number. As with every trainer in this guide, ask for them (see the checklist below).

Qualifications and licensing
- REPs UAE is the UAE's register of exercise professionals. Its FAQ says registration is "not a statutory requirement nationwide" but that the Dubai and Abu Dhabi Sports Councils "have both issued circulars making REPS registration mandatory" for instructors in health clubs and fitness facilities. It also says the register was initiated by the Dubai Sports Council. Personal Trainer is Category A.
- How to register: a recognised qualification from an approved provider and a current CPR certificate. For Category A the listed awarding bodies include Focus Awards, Active IQ, PD Approval and Europe Active. "NASM International Certified Personal Trainer" appears as a course title delivered with Europe Active as the awarding body. REPs UAE does not accept online-only courses.
- Check a trainer: REPs UAE offers a public search at repsuae.com/find-trainer.
- Business licence: Meydan Free Zone's guidance says a personal sports coaching licence (activity code 8541.98) is issued by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism for mainland businesses, or by the relevant free zone authority, and that the Dubai Sports Council may ask to see professional certifications. It says professional indemnity insurance "is not always compulsory by law". Rehabilitation or physiotherapy needs a separate licence from the Dubai Health Authority.
- What we could not verify: we could not open a Dubai Sports Council page setting out the current rule for individual trainers, so treat the above as the registers' and a free zone's own statements and confirm with them. We did not find an official page confirming that ACE or ISSA certificates are accepted.
How to choose
- Ask for the trainer's REPs UAE registration and check it on the register.
- Ask for the certificate, the awarding body and a CPR or first aid certificate.
- Ask whether the business holds a trade licence and for the number.
- Ask what the session length is, whether VAT is included, how long a package is valid and the cancellation notice (Fit with Rozzie states 18 hours).
- Ask whether the first consultation is free and whether an assessment is included.
- Ask about insurance.
- Red flags: no credentials offered, pressure to buy a large package, no written terms, and claims such as guaranteed results.
Home, gym, outdoor or online
- Gym: equipment is on hand. ThriveFit DXB publishes AED 350 per gym session.
- Home or building gym: the trainer travels. ThriveFit lists AED 450 at home. Some businesses bring equipment (369MMAFit says it does).
- Outdoor: ThriveFit lists AED 400; Fit Squad DXB says it is licensed to train outdoors.
- Online: Fit with Rozzie says live online training uses the same package rates, and Fortius offers online coaching.
Women-only and female-coach options
Tommy Mitchell Coaching describes a service for men. Train With Us lists an all-female coaching team and offers at-home sessions. Being Fit says it has "highly qualified female coaches for clients who prefer women-only training". Warehouse Gym has four clubs named Ladies (Al Barsha, Al Khawaneej, Al Quoz and Yas Bay), though its page does not say they are women-only. Fit Squad DXB and Fortius offer female trainers. Ask each business to confirm.

About this guide
Tommy Mitchell Coaching is the editor's pick: it is the publisher's own recommendation, a client of the publisher, with a disclosure above, and it was not selected by the criteria below. The other businesses were chosen where a public page shows a price, a service area and some statement about qualifications. Criteria were applied equally: published price, stated qualification or registration, and service area. It is not a ranking, it is not exhaustive and there is no paid placement from the other businesses. We list businesses and studios, not private individuals. We left out sources we could not open and price figures that came only from third-party write-ups. The guide has no hero photo while we request press images.
