Shaza Hotels is welcoming guests across the region for Ramadan with a range of Iftar and Suhoor experiences at its properties. The programme is built around reflection, generosity, and time spent with family and friends during the Holy Month.
Drawing on the spirit of the Silk Route – a historical network where cultures met, ideas moved across borders, and food and flavour passed between civilisations – Shaza has shaped its Ramadan offer around heritage and shared tradition rather than dining alone. The experiences bring together the rituals that mark both sunset and the hours before dawn.
Each offering takes its cues from Arabian hospitality and the traditions that have defined Ramadan across generations. The focus is on the essence of the month – gratitude, community, and understated elegance – with tables set with care, space for conversation, and attention to the details that reflect the character of the season.
Shaza Doha – Tales of Shahrazad at Midan Restaurant
This Ramadan, Shaza Doha unveils “Tales of Shahrazad” at Midan — a realm where the soul of Arabic cuisine intertwines with the timeless magic of One Thousand and One Nights.
Under the guidance of Chef Hekmat Barakat, each dish is thoughtfully crafted to tell a story — rich in spice, warmth and the deep-rooted heritage of Arabic flavours — inviting guests to gather, savour and celebrate the sacred month.
Guests are invited to immerse themselves in a captivating Iftar featuring Middle Eastern classics and global flavours, accompanied by the soothing sounds of a live oud performance. Whether indoors or on the terrace under the stars, Midan offers tranquil moments of connection in an atmosphere of refined elegance.
For Suhoor, the experience transforms into graceful weekend evenings from 10 pm onwards, where exquisite Arabic and international dishes are complemented by premium hubbly bubbly in the serene terrace setting.
For corporate gatherings, the exclusive Mirage Ballroom offers a distinguished venue for large Iftar celebrations, with bespoke menus curated to individual preferences. Guests may also bring the Shaza experience home through outside catering and Iftar-to-go services, supported by the hotel’s expert culinary team.
Additionally, Shaza Doha introduces a Ramadan Retreat starting from QAR 300 per night, featuring a Deluxe Room for double occupancy with early check-in and late check-out (subject to availability), offering a peaceful escape in the heart of the city.
