    For those new to Ramadan, suhoor is the meal eaten before sunrise, before the daily fast begins. Across Dubai, a good number of restaurants and Ramadan tents open late into the night to serve it. The options below cover a range of settings, prices and menus to suit different tastes.

    Amaseena

    After serving as a buffet for iftar, the Amaseena Ramadan village switches to an à la carte suhoor menu in the later hours. À la carte. Thursday to Saturday, 10pm to 12.30am. Ritz Carlton JBR, ritzcarlton.com (04 399 4000).

    Al Bayt

    Al Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection

    Al Safadi

    Arrogante

    The Italian suhoor menu opens with watermelon carpaccio, burrata or baby spinach salad. Mains include bolognese with beef ragù, Parmigiano risotto with dates and balsamic, or whole baby chicken alla cacciatora. Dessert options are revani milk cake or fresh fruit platter. Dhs300.     Atlantis, The Palm

    Bab El Bahr

    Bibé Rooftop

    COYA

    Dahlia

    Ewaan

    Hills Pool Deck

    Juña Rooftop
