Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa, Abu Dhabi, has launched A Family Desert Discovery, a seasonal offer that takes 50% off a second room. It is available for bookings made until 30 November 2026, for stays between 20 October and 28 December 2026. Terms and conditions apply.
The resort is a private, boutique desert retreat less than an hour’s drive from the centre of Abu Dhabi. It is inspired by traditional Bedouin villages, with 99 guest rooms, suites and villas spread across palm shaded grounds. Rooms have hand carved furnishings, Arabesque details and private balconies or terraces looking over the resort and the desert.
What the offer includes
Each stay includes a choice of one complimentary 20 minute FlowRider session or archery experience. Children get complimentary access to the Kids Club, and adults get complimentary access to the Saray Spa facilities and Fitness Centre. Marriott Bonvoy members save a further 20% on spa treatments and 20% on dining during their stay.
Other ways to explore the desert include horseback riding across the dunes, Emirati falconry, guided desert walks and camel rides. As part of The Luxury Collection’s daily Epicurean Moment, in house guests can join a complimentary mixology session built around the resort’s signature Bedouin’s Date, made with saffron, dates and hibiscus, in alcoholic and non alcoholic versions. Between activities, there is a desert facing infinity pool.
Where to eat
Bait Al Hanine serves Levantine and international dishes overlooking a water feature, and Terra Secca serves Italian food inspired by the flavours of Tuscany. Panache has drinks and light bites beside the infinity pool, and Al Mesayan is a rooftop venue with views across the desert at sunset.
