A low-impact luxury escape is heading for Hatta. Caravan Hatta by Our Habitas opens its doors to first guests on 28 September 2026, marking the experiential hospitality brand’s debut in the UAE. Set within Hatta Resorts, the property backs onto the dramatic Hajar Mountains and looks out over the turquoise waters of Hatta Dam. Rates start from AED 1,200 per night.
Accommodation comes in the form of 50 bespoke Airstream Caravans — 13 Ridge Caravans and 37 Peak Caravans — offering views across either the valley or the lake. Interiors draw on the surrounding mountains, built around shades of sand, terracotta, clay and stone, paired with raw wood, woven rattan and natural linen. Handcrafted furnishings and bohemian textiles nod subtly to Emirati nomadic traditions. Each caravan comes with a queen bed and premium linens, a dinette, pantry, bathroom, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a private wooden deck.

Guests can also unwind at the communal infinity pool, framed by mountain views, or head to the Observatory Deck to take in Hatta’s famously clear night skies. In-room amenities have been custom-created by homegrown brand Dastaangoi, adding a distinctly local touch throughout.
Dining takes centre stage at Madar — Arabic for “Orbit” — a chef-driven restaurant developed with Paris Society Consulting and designed as a communal dining space under open skies. The menu draws on Emirati influences and regional flavours, using fresh local ingredients prepared through open-fire and underground cooking techniques. Poolside dining and live barbecue evenings round out the relaxed, mountain-backed setting.
Built around Our Habitas’ “Luxury for the Soul” philosophy, the retreat prioritises nature, community and a slower pace of travel over the conventional hotel experience. The concept invites guests to spend more time outdoors, engage with the landscape and take part in experiences rooted in Hatta’s culture and heritage.
Cultural programming plays a central role, with sound healing sessions, Arabic coffee rituals, movie nights and guided workshops on offer. A rotating calendar of events will also bring in makers, storytellers and creatives, reflecting the brand’s emphasis on community.
For those craving adventure, Hatta’s hiking and cycling trails lead deeper into the Hajar Mountains, while kayaking and paddleboarding open up the calm waters of Hatta Dam. Back at the retreat, Thuraya Wellness offers restorative treatments inspired by the landscape, including a barrel sauna, outdoor cold plunge and hot tub, alongside yoga and meditation sessions built around the stillness of mountain life.
Caravan Hatta follows the success of Our Habitas AlUla in Saudi Arabia and builds on the ongoing partnership between Dubai Holding and Ennismore. As the brand’s first UAE property, it adds a distinctive new overnight stay to Hatta’s growing hospitality scene — blending outdoor adventure, thoughtful design and a strong sense of place.
