Dubai’s dining scene did not take the week off. From Paris landing in Jumeirah to a Peruvian burger worth the drive to Al Quoz, here are 10 things happening in the city right now that are worth leaving the house for.
New Openings
Le Piaf — Jumeirah Emirates Towers
Paris’s legendary piano bar concept has finally touched down in Dubai — and it’s brought everything with it. Live piano performances, classic French dining, and an atmosphere that stretches well past midnight. Think red velvet, candlelight, and the feeling you’ve been transported to a Montmartre side street. If you’ve been waiting for somewhere to dress up and stay out late, this is it.
Hours: 8PM – 2AM daily
The Barrel — Vida Creek Beach, Dubai Creek Harbour
Dubai Creek Harbour’s newest neighbourhood pub does exactly what a great pub should — hearty comfort food, a solid drinks menu, and a vibe that works for everything from after-work drinks to a lazy Sunday roast. There’s a pet-friendly outdoor terrace, regular DJ nights, and a family-friendly Sunday roast to round out the week. One of the more welcome additions to the Creek Harbour neighbourhood.
Hours: 12PM – 12AM daily
The Monk — Business Bay (New Branch)
The beloved Indo-Chinese restaurant has expanded to Business Bay, and the hits are all present — Hakka noodles, hot soups, tenderloin beef and crispy chilli chicken. Almost everything on the menu comes in under Dhs100, making this one of the city’s best-value dinners right now.
