Murmur Brings Its Emirati Fusion Menu to a Marsa Boulevard Pop-Up From 30 October

Murmur, which describes itself as Sharjah’s first homegrown fine-dining restaurant, will make its Dubai debut with a winter pop-up at Marsa Boulevard, opening on 30 October 2026. The restaurant is known for a contemporary take on Emirati and regional flavours, mixing familiar local ingredients with global influences and modern techniques.

An exclusive Marsa menu

For the pop-up, Murmur has created a menu of dishes that will only be served at Marsa Boulevard:

  • Saffron Chicken Burger, with saffron garlic mayonnaise in a sesame saffron Hokkaido bun.
  • Musakhan Croquettes, made with sumac chicken and fried onions.
  • Biryani Arancini, which brings Murmur’s signature biryani and dal makhani together in an Italian-style bite.
  • Eggplant Melanzane, with roasted eggplant, matchstick fries and burrata.
  • Marsa Fries, finished with Murmur’s signature seasoning.

Signatures from Sharjah

Guests can also order Murmur’s signature dishes. Wagyu Short Rib and Tahdig pairs crispy tahdig rice with braised beef short rib, and Machboos Arancini is a contemporary version of the traditional Emirati rice dish. For dessert, the Karak San Sebastian combines the flavours of karak with a classic San Sebastian cheesecake, finished with saffron foam.

The pop-up is set up for outdoor dining on the Marsa Boulevard waterfront through Dubai’s cooler months. The name comes from murmuration, the synchronised movement of birds, which the restaurant uses as a picture of different elements coming together. Murmur is part of Vintage Gazelle Hospitality.

Reservations are not taken: the pop-up works on a walk-in basis. The release lists opening hours as 4pm to 12pm, with weekends until 1am, so check the closing time with Murmur before a late visit. It gives no prices.
