Three days. Three celebrations. One very big birthday. Rodeo Drive is celebrating its first year in Ibn Battuta with a long weekend of live entertainment, country-inspired revelry, food, drinks and plenty of cowboy spirit.

Yeehaw, Dubai! Rodeo Drive, Ibn Battuta is turning one, and it’s marking the occasion the only way it knows how – with a full weekend of celebrations bringing together live music, dancing, entertainment, wholesome family fun, food, drinks and a little bit of Texas-style chaos.

Taking place across 11th–13th September, Rodeo Drive’s first birthday weekend will see the restaurant and bar transformed across three distinct celebrations, giving guests a different reason to saddle up and join the fun each day.

Kicking things off on Friday, 11 September, is THAT 1 PARTY, running from 4pm until late. Expect a night of crazy fun with 1 AED shots promotion, listen out for the buzzer every alternate hour and enjoy a wide range of shots ranging from Doo Dou, Blue Kamikaze, Espresso Martini shots to name just a few!

Of course, no Friday night at Rodeo Drive is complete without its iconic Bubbly Friday. Ladies enjoy free Prosecco from 7pm to 9pm. If Prosecco is not your thing, there is Happy Hour from 4pm to 7pm that can be taken advantage of as well as Late Night Happy hour from 11pm to 1am. Added to the fun, patrons can expect to dance the night away with Speed Wagon from 7pm to 10pm then DJ LeySani from 10pm to late performing all the familiar favourites to keep the party going

Saturday, 12 September, brings the country fun with the NEON HONKY TONK Birthday Edition, running from 4pm until 3am.

An event famed for its host of playful experiences for guests of all ages, including hair braiding and glam makeup stations, custom cowboy hat making, a kids’ cowboy mascot, arcade games and a dedicated kids’ play area with a nanny until midnight. For the grown-ups, the bar will be transformed to a hoedown of fun activities starting. Sam and KdVox starts the day with your favourite country acoustics, line dancing with Boot Scoot gets your boots tapping, a fire dancing performance, finally The Roof Top Riffs continues the party late into the night. Alongside drinks packages and plenty of opportunities to show off those line-dancing skills.

Fashion will also take centre stage, with a dedicated merchandise counter showcasing the Rodeo Drive x Serge De Nîmes Denim collaboration, while prizes will be awarded for line dancing and the best-dressed cowgirl. Ladies purchasing a package will also receive a free pink cowboy hat on arrival.

Alongside two drinks package options: a two-hour package at AED 220 per person, including house drinks and one bite, and a four-hour package at AED 395 per person, including house drinks and two bites. Guests who prepay receive a 30% discount.

Rounding off the weekend is the Rodeo Drive Sunday   Texas Fairground, launching Sunday, 13 September and running weekly thereafter from 1pm to 8pm. The Sunday sessions brings a family-friendly twist to Rodeo Drive’s cowboy spirit, with a dedicated kids’ play area complete with a nanny on hand, an extended play zone, arcade games for the slightly older kids and a rotating line-up of live entertainment including a Rodeo mascot, an interactive educational show and a different educational food station for the kids how to learn how to make their own candy floss, soft serve and more.

Guests can tuck into a sharing-style menu built for the fair, from Rodeo Corn Ribs and Firecracker Shrimp to Nashville Sliders and Crispy Shrimp Tacos, rounded off with Basque Cheesecake and Campfire S’mores Brownie. Food and beverage packages are available, with all-day happy hour running throughout, giving families and groups an easy, laid-back way to spend a Sunday at Rodeo Drive.

After a year of bringing its distinctive blend of American-inspired dining, live entertainment and high-energy nightlife to Dubai, Rodeo Drive’s first birthday weekend is set to be a fitting celebration of everything that has made the venue a destination in its first year.

Whether guests come for the live music, stay for the dancing, bring the family for the daytime entertainment or simply want an excuse to put on their best cowboy boots, Rodeo Drive’s first birthday weekend promises three days of celebrations with something for everyone.
