Organic Foods & Cafe has put together five unconventional barbecue ideas for diners looking to update their outdoor cooking this season, alongside discounts on selected meats at its UAE stores on 24 and 25 October, 7 and 8 November, and alternate weekends thereafter until the end of November 2026.
Five ideas for the grill
- A DIY burger station using brioche buns with beef, chicken or Kale & Quinoa burgers, topped with grilled pineapple, charred avocado or grilled zucchini ribbons
- A steak rub for the brand’s free range, grass-fed Organic Rib Eye Steak from Australia, made with salt, pepper, garlic flakes and brown sugar, with an alternative version using ground coffee and cocoa powder
- A gourmet hotdog built on Organic Beef Sausages or Organic Beef Boerewors, finished with caramelised onions and a grilled peach relish
- A vegetable spread of cauliflower steaks with olive oil and smoked paprika, grilled aubergine with hummus, chilli and lime corn on the cob, and grilled watermelon with feta and mint
- A sweet finish of grilled bananas, mangoes and pineapple with marshmallows, alongside Organic Foods & Cafe’s chocolate brownies and chocolate decadence slice
The brand says the ideas are designed to work for a relaxed day of hosting rather than an elaborate menu, with the burger station in particular suited to both kids and adults at the same gathering.
Those planning to fire up the grill can take advantage of the meat discounts across Organic Foods & Cafe’s branches. The brand operates seven organic supermarkets and cafes in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, including stores on Sheikh Zayed Road, in the Greens, Cityland Mall, Mirdif, Galleria Mall Al Barsha and The Palm Jumeirah, as well as a branch at Nation Towers in Abu Dhabi.
