RX Coffee Apothecary is marking UAE Flag Day with a limited-edition Qahwa Soft Serve. It is on the menu for seven days only, from 1 to 7 November, at all four RX branches in Dubai.
The soft serve takes its flavour from qahwa, the Arabic coffee that sits at the heart of Emirati hospitality and is traditionally poured in small cups for guests as they arrive. RX has turned those flavours into a dessert. In the photo the café sent us, it comes swirled high in RX’s red cup, with a drizzle of sauce and a small UAE flag on the side.
Where to find it
The Qahwa Soft Serve is available at the RX branches in Dubai Mall, Jumeirah, City Centre Mirdif and City Centre Al Zahia. The release does not give a price, so check at the counter.
RX Coffee Apothecary opened in Dubai in 2018. It is known for Nordic-roasted coffee from Fuglen Coffee Roasters in Oslo and for its desserts, and the branches share a look built around red benches, terrazzo tables and handmade cups and plates.
UAE Flag Day falls on 3 November, when flags are raised across the country. As the soft serve is only around for a week, go early if you want to try it.
