Four restaurant brands from The Lab Holding added new dishes to their menus in October: SLRP, 3Fils, BRIX Café and Bordo Mavi. The group’s PR agency, Evergreen Communications, sent the details on 28 October.
SLRP at Dubai Mall
SLRP’s Steak 9+ Fries is now served at all three of its locations, in Dubai Mall, Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi and 06 Mall in Sharjah. At SLRP Dubai Mall, the new Tokyo Hot Honey Karaage is corn-fed chicken in a miso hot honey glaze, and the Butter Ebi Shrimp Udon brings together ebi shrimp, yuzu miso butter and Japanese udon noodles.
The release also lists a new Tiramisu Tokoroten dessert with coffee jelly noodles, without saying which branches serve it. SLRP is open from 10am to 1am.
SLRP in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah
At SLRP Yas Mall, the Crispy Salmon Caesar gives the classic salad crispy salmon skin and a sesame miso dressing. At SLRP 06 Mall, the Crispy Calamari Donburi comes with Cajun calamari, dill ranch, sushi rice and yuzu ponzu.
3Fils
In Dubai, 3Fils at Jumeirah Fishing Harbour has added a Scallop Aburi Maki, with torched Hokkaido scallops, mango and miso mayo. Returning favourites include the Kani Nori Tempura and the Wagyu Ribeye + Marrow Steak.
3Fils at The Edition, Al Bateen, in Abu Dhabi has more new dishes: Chicken Tortilla Skewers with chicken thigh and aji amarillo, a Yakiniku Sando with ribeye and spicy mayo, an Umami Ribeye served with celeriac purée and a CinnaBomb Crunch dessert. Two new drinks join the Abu Dhabi menu, the Berry Melon Fizz and the Blue Blossom. 3Fils opens from 3pm to 10pm.
BRIX Café
BRIX Café at Jumeirah Fishing Harbour has five additions. The Vegan Benedict comes with roasted sweet potatoes, avocado, Portobello mushrooms and vegan pesto, and the Levant Prawn Garden pairs prawn couscous with roasted cabbage, beetroot, pecans and labneh.
Lighter options are the Healthy Greens and a Mediterranean Mezze with stracciatella and grilled halloumi, plus a Golden Protein Shake of mango, melon and vanilla protein. BRIX Café is open from 7am to 11:30pm.
Bordo Mavi
Bordo Mavi, the seafood restaurant at Jumeirah Fishing Harbour, has two new dishes with a Mediterranean touch: the Seabass Reyhan Carpaccio and the Hamsili Pillav. Bordo Mavi opens from 12pm to 11:30pm.
All four serve à la carte; the release gives no prices.
