UAE pop-culture retailer The Little Things has unveiled Wicked Academy, a Halloween collection that brings horror icons, supernatural anime, oddball characters and collectible favourites together under one roof. It spans action figures, premium statues, Funko POP! figures, plushies and blind boxes, for fans of classic horror characters as well as collectors drawn to the strange, the supernatural and the unexpectedly adorable.
Five worlds to explore
The collection is split into five themed categories:
- Anime After Dark: pieces inspired by the darker, more mysterious and otherworldly side of anime.
- Horror 101, The Icons of Horror: premium collectible statues and action figures of recognisable horror characters.
- Certified Weirdos: Fugglers, the oddball characters known for their unusual expressions and mischievous personalities.
- Scream and POP!: Funko POP! figures inspired by iconic characters and spooky pop-culture favourites.
- Adorably Wicked Finds: collectibles from Monster High, Poppy Playtime, 99 Nights in the Forest, The Monsters, Hirono and SKULLPANDA by POP MART.
The thinking, according to the release, is that Halloween is no longer only about dressing up and trick-or-treating. For pop-culture fans it is also a chance to discover the characters, creatures and curiosities they love, whether they are adding to an established collection, searching for an unusual find or opening a mystery blind box.
